The place’s structure and layout was okey. Except that when me and family got there, it turned out to be mosquito infested from all corners. The food availability was quite limited. Got to taste their free breakfast, which was bland with juices that are all from sachets. Bedrooms had the aura of spaces from a haunted house and bathrooms are not suitable for elderly people. No basic toiletries were provided. We had to go to town to get ourselves toothbrush and toothpaste. Amenities? None except the pool that is too cold and dirty to be inviting. Not worth their published prices. We barely stayed 24 hours there. Just stayed there to get by the night. If planning to go to Maasin, pls check other places / somewhere else ahead of time to avoid the experience we had.

Mosquito Infested Place w/ Haunted House Vibes

looks like an abandoned hotel.. very dim. there are really not enough lights.. the damage of the recent typhoon (odette) is still very evident.  no elevators. no gym. no security guards..  this hotel looks & feels drab and depressing.. the only amenity is the pool that doesn't look good as well.. save yourself & stay somewhere else.

they need to close down & needs major renovation

The amenities and place is one the best resorts I have visited. I really had a gasp of my own solo unwinding trip and definitely this resort made it more special for me. I would definitely recommend this place, and will want to visit again in the future. 

Worth it!

I sponsored 3 families from Canada, flew down visiting all parts of the Philippines from Mountain Provinces - Sagada , Underground River Palawan, El Nido, Coron, Famous BoraCay, Cebu City, Bohol, and Famous Southern Leyte notorious for its Typhoons. 

I chose this place because it had many of the amenities that it listed. I could have stayed at newer resorts like the Dive Resorts near Padres on the Sogod Bay side. 

I found this place very secluded, well hidden, very quiet, staff helpful. The rooms were very clean and cold in a good way. the air cons have no black molds which is a huge plus!!!  Coron had to be the worse overrated place for accommodations. 

someone spoke the rating and not being close to a Marriott, lol too funny! hey buddy your in the provinces not in a major metropolitan and that hotel chain that im a elite with all their properties including Fairmont are definitely not priced as low as this place. 

Yes the wifi could use improving but the Philippines is notorious for Globe and Smart Wireless causing a huge monopoly that shows LTE but barely a 2G with too many people using it for video messaging. Again , the province do not have fibre optik internet. There is now Starlink satellite internet the hotel can get but costly at $100us but gives true 160gbps compared to the best 2gbps offered in the nearest town of Maasin . you have to remember most people dont have good paying jobs where nurses and hospital personnel  in the provinces only make $10-$8us a day having to work long 6 days a week with terrible supervisors and managers like Sogod Hospital pharmacy department, thats a story for another time. 

One person wrote leafs fell in the pool in the afternoon, what the heck!  go find a rooftop pool in Makati , lol.  Hey the best part of this hotel is the pool. honestly it has two big pools. onefor kids and infinity pool at the back with a long waterfall. i invited a family who never seen or swim in a swimming pool, yes it cost me to add them swim for a few hours, who cares, hotel has to make money cleaning up. The same girl wrote there was no stairs to the beach, the beach is full of pebbles not that great and full of kids that have nothing to do except harass people if the guest would go to the beach. The Hotel is located at one  of the poorest provinces people in all of the Philippines, These people work the hardest and never complain. 99% have never tried a beef hamburger so its unjustly that anyone tears this place apart. ive stayed in worse places that had diseased mosquitos deep in the dangerous jungles of Palawan and mountain provinces near Sagada.  

i would give this place 3 stars. it does need a new owner that couldcreplace the foam mattresses to real pillowtop mattresses from S&R (Costco Kirkland brand) , it needs to replace all its 4k fluorescent lightbulbs to warmer yellowish 2700k led bulbs. white bulbs dont give a hotel a warm inviting feeling. it should have extra staff to go around to say and talk to people including walking up to guess as they drive into the driveway, this goes a long way and would give this hotel a better rating and a hotel that would be always full after a years time from good reviews. Would i stay here again, for a temporary safe stay with a pool, most definitely .

im a guy who fell in love with the Philippines and yes i hate drivers who make their own rules, drivers driving on the wrong side of the road , rice on the roads to dry , workers painting the middle line in darkness, the many ghosts that crosses the road at night from the deaths of the Yolanda Typhoon ,  the loudness scariest  come-alive jungle north of the famous Philippines Highest  Agas-Agas  bridge where your windshield constantly fogs up at night from the humidity. 

ive never felt taken advantage in All of Leyte but im told its a different story north of Tacloban .  As a white mindful and kindful big hearted  soul who is very giving, i found this part of the philippines the most loveable people !!

A good visit to a new place to the only 3 star hotel in Southern Leyte

Totally disappointed,  over priced , this place is worse than a low budget Motel 6 at the Marriott prices. We reserved the Honeymoon suite.  But got put into a less nicer room because the air conditioning was broken in the room we reserved. The bar was closed because it was out of stock.  They said it was a display only.  The hot tub was closed. Food was OK at best.  The elevator was out of order and my wife is four months pregnant,   she had to climb stairs to the third floor multiple times.  The only good compliment I can give is the staff is very friendly.  This was my first and last time to stay here.

Me and my girlfriend  went here but found the room out dated andnot very modern  food was very basic   but alright.the lady that owns it was very nice an d had a very nice dog we stayed here 2 nights the hotel is near the beach but the sand is black also from there you can go to other places easy

It's ok but not the cheapest

I planned to spend my 23rd birthday somewhere in Eastern Visayas. I was thinking of Maasin, so I searched for hotels where I could stay. I went to Jaimee's on the day of my birthday. I paid through bank transfer a month before. I arrived at the hotel at 10 am because I thought I can check-in in advance. As it turns out, you can't do that. Since my back was already aching, and I already have plans for that day, so I paid 500 pesos. Imagine, 500 pesos for just three hours. I had no choice. It was in the afternoon when I got near the pool area. I stayed there for two hours. The view was great. It was very serene. The only thing that bothered my sleep was the people who were at the beach. There is no entrance leading to the beach. I watched the sun set in the pool. It was great. It was like watching my 22-year old self set. That's when I realized it was worth the price. The only thing I did not like about my stay here is the poor wifi connection, the dirty pool (especially in the afternoon because leaves keep falling everywhere), the staff, the distance between the hotel and the city proper, and the limited TV channels. The rooms are clean, and they provide coffee. I wish they could do renovations next time. The hotel is promising. Maybe some changes will make it more popular to tourists.

Worth the visit, worth the price

I had a wonderful time. The staff was very friendly and courteous, ready to assist with any needs. The beach is not far at all and the quietness helped my fiance and I to reset.

Some repairs are definitly needed but were obviously in the works, so I can't hold that against them. But I would have to say the best part of my experience was that it was almost as if staying with family. When we come to visit again, we will be coming back and looking forward to our stay.

Excellent staff with good location

Hotel is in need of a major maintenance and refurbishment. Bathrooms were dirty and A/C in-operational. Not a hotel that deserves the rating it presently has. During our stay we saw dogs in the restaurant kitchen and Reception Area. One of us were also attacked by these hotel dogs in the parking area in the evening. Not acceptable!!!

We were looking for a Hotel in Maasin City that had a pool and beachfront and Jaimee's fit the bill... The room was nice, service was fast but the WiFi works in the lobby and poolside only.  Also, they need to have the elevator repaired since the stairs are kind of steep and dangerous for children and older people.
