The chairs and tables of the terrace where breakfast is served are completely oxidized, the walls of the room have dark shadows and need a handful of paint, the edges and corners of the roof are quite quiet and with eight square kilometres of restaurants. As far as the rooms are concerned, leaving the roof aside, the structure is all clean, but the decoration and furniture is quite clean and quite damaged by the use. My parents celebrated their 50th by visiting Bohol and we stayed at this place for 2 nights.  The hotel's driver, Bong, really took care of us.  He is very polite.  The entire staff, Connie and everyone that works at Villa Tarcela did an excellent job.  Their Chef/Cook makes really good food, simple dishes but LOTS of flavor.  Even my daughter who's very picky loves his sinigang and adobo.  Though the resort is far from Panglao, we had a great say! Thank you!

Outstanding Service, Quiet Stay!

We stayed a month at Villa Tarcela resort, and we really enjoyed it. Because it's on the western edge of Valencia, it is very quiet and peaceful, with an excellent swimming pool.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and we got to know all of them by name. The fact that my fiancee is Visayan undoubtedly helped, but I think they would treat anyone the same way they treated us.

The rooms are very nice and clean. They are a good value. 

This is not one of those fancy resorts where you are overwhelmed by things to do. It is just a quiet, peaceful resort where you can really get some rest while touring Bohol. It is close enough to Tagbilaran that you can take a jeepney or bus to the Island City Mall for shopping, but it is far away from the traffic jams and crowds.

It is located right on the ocean, so you can swim in the ocean or walk on the beaches near the resort. I would also suggest just walking down the highway and talking to locals, to get a feel for the community. A good time to do that is 4:30-6:00 p.m. every day, when the sun is setting and it starts getting cooler. That's when everyone comes out onto the highway and visits with each other.

Villa Tarcela is a good value for the money. You can get much more at other resorts, but those resorts also cost much more. For me, this is the best place to stay in Bohol.

Excellent resort if you're not looking for the nightlife on Panglao Island

Villa tarcela is a happy place! located about fifty kilometers from tagbilaran, whether an hour by bus or jeepney, the hotel is family-run by its owner, the staff is friendly, friendly, very helpful! the rooms are spacious and well equipped, the swimming pool, even small, is very nice, and the owner takes great care of her small garden which she often maintains herself in the early morning. The days of the restaurant are not crowded, but the meals are exquisite, at really low prices! but the place is worth a quiet place! here there is no music, no bar nearby, no engine noise as well as the one located on the main swimming street nearby. I would not have liked to have a nice swimming pool, but I would have liked to have a nice way to get there, but the hotel is only a few kilometers away, so if you have a nice place to stay, I'll give you a nice ride, but I'll tell you that after a few minutes, you'll find a nice place to go, and you'll find a nice place to go, and you'll be happy to have a nice

Very nice plase to have a good rest

The Villa has a wonderful staff, very comfortable rooms, and excellent food.  The area is quiet and pleasant with breathtaking views of the ocean.  Sunrises are spectacular, as are the sunsets.  The swimming pool was very nice and refreshing.  The staff was very helpful with our requests and helped with travel and touring of the area.  We loved our stay there and will stay there each time we are in the area.

A wonderful place to stay.

Villa Tracella is a place to be if you are in Bohol, very relaxing looking at the beach, surrounded with beautiful garden. It wasn't long ago, when I was there. It is a home away from home. I can assure you, the moment you stay there you will feel in love with the place..
