This is a beautiful resort with an awe inspiring view of limestone formations and crystal clear blue water.  The accommodations are very spacious and the staff is incredibly professional.  Unfortunately, I only got to stay here one night instead of two because Air Swift bumped me from my confirmed flight and changed me to a flight the next day.  I could not make that flight because then I would miss my flight to Bangkok to conclude my trip itinerary, so I had to leave a day early. The front office manager, Eriko, was kind enough to advise me that there was an insurance policy related to Air Swift cancellations and that she would help me submit my insurance claim to be reimbursed the room rate for the night I had prepaid at the resort, but could not stay.  No guarantees, she said, and honestly I figured it was a long shot that I would be reimbursed.  But after several months and a few email inquiries later, I was so pleasantly surprised to find out that my claim was approved and the $700+ rate for the one night was wired back into my checking account. I really appreciate the effort Eriko made on my behalf.  If you are flying on Air Swift, it should probably be noted that these last minute changes can and do occur so plan accordingly.  But this situation doesn't diminish my memories of what a beautiful resort this is and I sincerely hope I have the opportunity to visit again!

Incredibly Short but Sweet Stay in Paradise!

Pangulasian vacation is the BEST thing that happened to my seasoned summer travelling family. The entire experience totally exceeded expectations and now is the lifetime favorite! From the spectacular view of our luxurious, clean, well-equipped villas we felt the comfortable, tranquil, serene
atmosphere of this tropical paradise. But it was the exceptional staff -  attentive, friendly, warm and caring who went above and beyond to attend to our every need to ensure the wonderful great service they are proud of, that made the difference. This was from Ed the resort manager who welcomed us and was always around to make sure all was well, to Harry who ensured our itinerary of activities will provide a memorable experience, to Erico and front desk, to the chef ( the beachfront dinner was a blast!), to dining hall attendants, housekeepers, to tour guides Ryan and Jonery, knowledgeable (and fun ) who provided exceptional service taking care of us while exploring the area ! So hands down, Pangalusian resort is simply an OVER THE TOP incredible destination - it was worth our precious time, expense, and huge effort covering 28 hrs of travel hours coming to this experience ----   we'll be back !

Pangulasian : OVER THE TOP Vacation destination -- BEST ever !

We had the most wonderful time at Pangulasian with some much-needed peace and serenity. All the staff here made it such a special trip for us. Andrew and the Captain took good care of us on our island hopping adventures - we spotted turtles, visited caves, and walked along sand bars galore. Will cherish these memories for a long long time!

From arrival to departure everything was perfect. The manager and staff welcomed us with great hospitality.  We enjoyed our stay especially at night when we enjoy swimming at our private pool. 

The Villa is great, sleep quality is very good.  We will definitely be back. 😁

Amazing Stay

I cannot say enough about how fabulous our stay on Pangalusian Island was. We felt like royalty. The staff clearly prioritizes their guests, quickly seeing to our every need. Ed, Erika, and Jane were polite and courteous, attentive yet not intrusive. Every request was addressed quickly, always accompanied by an affirmative smile. The spectacular views look like something from a movie and hard to believe were real! The entire resort is immaculate. Stray leaves were regularly swept up; even after a rain the sand was promptly raked! Our villa was clean, modern, and cozy. We loved our private infiniti pool overlooking the sea! Every meal we had was over the top delicious - we are foodies who have eaten in Michelin restaurants around the world and we believe this restaurant’s service and cuisine are top notch. Our beachfront sunset dinner on our last night was breathtaking. Thank you Ryan and Jomery for guiding us on our island hopping and coastal wonders excursions - we will never forget snorkeling in clear waters surrounded by colorful fish and coral, and kayaking through nondescript openings in the rocks to reveal a beautiful hidden alcove. Our spa treatments were very relaxing and rejuvenating. In a way, our vacation to Palawan and Pangalusian Island has ruined vacations for me as I do not anticipate a different resort to easily replicate such an exquisite and memorable experience!

Luxury In Paradise

I don't even know where to start.  This was unbelievable.   If you want an experience unlike anything else, this is it.  You arrive by speedboat and are helped off the boat who escort you in (by the way, they wave you off with music also!).  The resort is a collection of villas and is absolutely stunning and luxurious.  The pool is great, the beach pristine.  Take your pick of 3 free daily excursions to lagoons and caves or a sunrise/sunset hike.  But it is the staff that make this place.  They are impeccably trained and so friendly.  You literally feel cared for at every minute of the day.  Amazing.  Unparalleled.

Only thing I would mention (but it doesn't impact my rating of 5 star!) is I prefer more a la carte at dinner time.  Additionally, the timing and musical material of the band on Christmas, unfortunately made it that everyone went to bed early (they took an hour break at a critical time and only played jazzy numbers) - I'm sure many of us wanted to stay up and get merry.

STUNNING!  Everything and more...

The resort is exceptional with wonderful staff, excellent room, activities are plentiful.  Food options were good.  Fitness center needs attention but over all an excellent experience. 

Guests are offered a multitude of explorations daily with knowledgeable guided.

Pool is maintained to very high standards. 

Casual luxury  immersed in nature 

We have been regulars at El Nido for quite a long time now.  We've been to all of the islands many times over.

I must say that this last trip was extra special and one could feel so many improvements that they have done.  Beyond just the hardware, they have put together new experiences at the island such that it feels like we were going there for the first time.  We stayed for three nights in this last trip and each dinner venue was different every night, and the menu was exciting every time.   

I can also share an incident that happened to me.  I lost my wedding ring while snorkeling at Miniloc Island reef.  I did not even report this to the resort as I had considered the ring as irretrievable and forever lost at sea.  Two days after we got home from our vacation, I received an email from the resort manager asking if a ring that they found belonged to me.  I was flabbergasted.  It was my ring.  They not only retrieved it from the sea, but found a way to trace it back to me.  It is delightful and refreshing beyond measure to experience customer care which exceeds expectations.  

We cannot wait to return to the islands.  

  

New experiences at an old favorite

The island is just a paradise: the food, the people, the sea, the beaches, the tours are amazing. The people working on the island resort are so kind that seems not real. We have never experienced so much (true) kindness in our entire life. Thank you for the best honeymoon ever.

The resort size, quality and design was perfect. You never felt like it was packed. The food is incredibly curated and the staff was excellent. I couldn’t recommend this place more. Plus! You’re in the most beautiful part of the Philippines.
