This is verry acomodating hotel in BICOL napaka bait ng pag tanggap nila sa amin at responsible sila sa customer. Almost 2weeks in this hotel. 
For my 2nd time around na namin dito sa Bicol 
Mura na ang accomodation sulit pa 5star .

We have stayed here last April 2019 with my family and friens as it was recommended by our friend. Stayed here for 3 days. I made a reservation via Expedia but when we arrive in the hotel 27th April we were told their are fully booked which is not my problem as when I made the booking a day before there was 3 room was available. First they offer me a room which is not the type of room I booked. They showed me this room with a single bed which is. I told them that the rooms is small for us and also for our baggages and they offer to put and extra bed where it make more cramped abd have limited space. Then they showed me this garage room, at first glance it looks clean but when see the toilet it was not clean at all. Not a big deal as I do not mind at first as I need to get ready to attend my friend wedding that day. After we came back after the wedding we found many issues in the room itself. First the aircon though its working properly it never get room cool enough. The room itself is dirty we have to called the reception if we can a borrow mop and broom so that we can clean the room ourselves as it already night time and we need to get things done. Then tap in the sink is not working. The shower it wont close. The door in the toilet cannot be locked. I have informed the reception about this issue but the response is kinda slow. Me and wife is frustrated that we payed so much in Expedia and we expect the quality in the room to be clean and everything is working fine. I almost packed my bags to go the nearby hotel to stay. They only decides to switch us in the handicapped room like around 10 pm. 

I really would love to recommend this hotel but the experience in my 1st night change everything. They should have handled it very well and we have 3 times and it is not a good exoerience at all. Not by chance going to stay there anymore. I rather stay Iriga Plaza Hotel or across hostel infront of Asog but I will commend the man who patiently help us that 1st night. I didnt get his name but I want to thanks him for his patience.

Fast recovery should solved the issue. Guest like us should be satisfied. I kinda disappointed in a way.



Worst stay they ever

The only positive thing for this are the people. They are nice. The negative part is the physical appearance of the room. It is obvious that the management is not looking at maintaining their property. Can do better on cleanliness, maintenance of taps, bathroom curtains, light fixtures and switches, aircon etc. I will not recommend to stay or return to this hotel.

Arrived at 0715 local time and my first impression of this hotel is that it lacks friendliness or hospitality.   The main desk clerk did not greet nor welcomed me nor smiled during the check in process.  After I checked in and even though the room was ready,  she would not allow early check in but I had to wait until 12:00 p.m.  Although for an additional  100 pesos an hour or an extra 500 extra pesos in my case  I could check in right now.    I'm not sure I want to do this as I just found out that there is no wifi in the rooms.  To get wifi I needed to go downstairs in the lobby. It seems to me that this hotel (1st 15 minute impression) just wants your money and does little to promote its service or hospitality.  Hopefully, when I get my room I can write something positive.

Pleas dont be fooled by the photos on this website there is no pool at asog country hotel and some website say wifi in every room your be lucky to get wifi any were in the hotel room are small and no toiletries

Asog country hotel

Our first visit was in 2012 and it's great to be back. They did some renovations and added more rooms. We've been travelling non-stop since arriving from Canada and it's great to come here and be greeted with a sincere smile!! All the staff are amazing and so very accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again soon!
