The accommodation: the rooms are very spacious, good WiFi connection, we had our own private pool and a lovely view. Was wonderful :) 

The location: It’s not close to much and there isn’t a lot to do here. So it’s not in the most ideal
spot. It’s also nearly an hour away from the airport.. 

To conclude I would have rated this place higher  but when I booked this accommodation. They have breakfast included so I listed I was vegetarian but when I told the receptionist she said they couldn’t do vegetarian. I asked if I could at least have some toast or cereal? and she said no. Which I don’t think is good enough.
We were paying for a service and how hard is it to serve some toast? So I ended up having to go to seven eleven and buy breakfast food from there for the time we were there. 

Another incident we had with here was when we asked one of the receptionists about visiting one of the islands- she ended up giving us false information which messed up our day (probably just an accident but still annoying- but you would think if your working in the Tourism Industry you would be able to answer questions about tourist spots) and they also forgot to book our airport pick up, for us in the morning of our departure... 

Stayed a couple nights 

The room was big the toilet is huge with a bathtub and a private pool outside, BUT...
1. Big room but the tv has a poor connection, no wifi. Bed is ok, Ac is ok.
2. Bathtub is ok but it needs cleaning specially the tiles and walls there's still dried soap splatters around.
3. The toilet bowl needs maintenance. 
4. The pool area is ok, there is a gate and the lock is from the outside meaning anyone can go in and out. Yes anyone! maybe an intruder, staff or whoever who wishes to go in they can actually access the pool. U cannot lock in from the inside only outside. 4steps from the gate is the door to ur shower and toilet and bathtub and ur room. Always double check if u lock ur door access to pool area. 
5. At night theres no supervisor or manager only 1 receptionist 2 guards. So whatever problem u may encounter at night u only have urself to help urself. Even if the manager knows there is a problem didnt even bother to come and check the resort personally.
6. There is a cctv outside the door.
7. Breakfast is lousy.
8. No other activities Aside from ur private pool. Theres no beach in-front.
9. Overall i didnt get enough sleep because i had to watch out for us. Because theres no one u can depend even guards.
10. Lastly dont request for early check in because they might ask u for an additional fee. Which is by the way we strongly disagree. In the end we were able to early check in without any additional fees.


OK BUT....

We only stayed at this resort one night, and came in late but it was very lovely. The bathroom was huge and was the first hot shower we’d had in a while. The water pressure was great, and the bathtub was beautiful and tempting. Instead we stepped out into the salt water pool which was a perfect way to end our hectic day of travel (it took a little over an hour to get here by taxi from the ferry pier). The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast was a set menu which included fruit, porridge, juice, eggs, fried potatoes, corned beef, and a side salad. It was more than we needed, but enough for all tastes. We sat outside and watched locals hunt for sea urchin in the tide pools behind the hotel. They arranged a car to take us to the airport (less than 30 minute morning drive). Very nice place and worth the price.

Nice, quite, and romantic

This place felt like a hidden gem.  Price was inexpensive especially when each unit has its own private pool.  We were transferred to room 1 and 2 which felt more updated and modern compared to rooma 7 and 8.  (I recommend room 2) as their air conditioning was superb.  Only thing i has wished our room has were blinds to darken our room.  I had to use a few t-shirts to makeshift a miniblinds so we could sleep past sunrise.  Their direct access to your private pool was thru the showering area which i thought was genius.  

Quiet and relaxing

The TV is from the early 90s very blurry the shower and bath room was coated with soap scum and the faucets and sink were not attached every thing moved or felt like it would pull off gently. This property needs a better property manager I’m sure it was once a great resort.

Soap scum and loose plumbing 

I was so disappointed on arrival and also at the same time angry that somehow this hotel has a much higher rating than it should The room was poorly maintained and the AC could barely cool the main room and couldn't come close to cooling the whole unit. Also staff was quick to turn off so every time returned to the room it was unbearable hot and took 3 to 4 hours to cool off again. Doors and windows had gaps enough to see outside easily and also allowing heat and bugs in. The electrical plugs were literally falling out of the wall making a huge safety hazard and it is obvious the room hasn't been remodeled in years. Transportation is almost impossible and front desk is willing to try to help if they aren't too busy so either call grab - Uber and be willing to wait for a long time for pickup if they come at all (we had several cars cancel after waiting a long time) or be willing to make the hot long walk to the main road a 5 to 10 minute walk. The breakfast is all local food with no choice of items (other than some limited fruit and pastries often shared with sugar ants) also if you want coffee ask since they will not tell you it is available. The pool was a surprise of being salt water but ok to dip in but the pool slippers which were well used and not clean. Towels are also minimum so use wisely. On a positive note the staff was friendly and polite. This hotel is easily over priced by 60% to 70% as well as over rated compared to others in this same area
