First this place is not in Argentina BUT in the Philippines. The hotel needs refurbishment, the restaurant was close for dining and the rooms were dirty. The only thing going for this hotel is location.  I will let the photos speak for the condition of the hotel

Avoid

the only reason I did not give one point is because I work in the tourism industry myself and know how tough the impact of Covid was, and things need time to improve again. But this resort certainly has seen its best days years ago and really needs to be renovated. If screws are coming out of the windows and doors, lights randomly turn themselves on during night time and water does not run in the shower nor the toilet, then there is something wrong.

What even put me more off was the attitude of the whole team. A very uninspiring bunch of people who are not welcoming, do not help with luggage, do not even provide drinking water. Guys, get your sh1t together! As a DOT accredited "resort" you even HAVE to provide drinking water (and glasses, by the way) as a standard requirement!

I have travelled the Philippines A LOT, and this place would easily make the top5 of the poorest ones that I have stayed at. As it is the case with some other hotels that live off of their good location, I believe many guests are going to stay there in future; but as of now, I can only say: stay away.

this place certainly needs a major make-over

Bang for buck all around. Attentive and accommodating staff, fantastic location, comfy bed. Contrary to earlier reviews, plumbing is decent for a seaside town, there are just times where the extra tabo helps (if you know what I mean).

Central loc, excellent value for money resort stay in LU

This hotel has the best beachfront  compared to others here. One can truly enjoy the beach, wind and the sun. They have ample parking and their own restaurant. The room is very basic,no hot water and no frills so dont expect too much. Receptionists  Shindy and Angelica are very nice. I just felt rwaturant is understaffed, glass tables on the veranda are always unkempt and i had a hard time identifying waiters from guest. Overall experience was good and will book and stay here again. 

Best beachfront hotel

Booked this hotel because I'm not familiar with the place and the reviews are great but there are better options. No room service so you need to find an open resto to eat. The room is not clean. Even the cups are not clean. It has stains inside which is easily removed with alcohol and tissue so it means it was not washed before we checked in. There was sand all over the sink and the floor too. You can't swim on the beach front and you have to walk to Urbiztondo to enjoy the beach. You have to cross a narrow and dark path to get to the swimmable beach so it's not for kids. If you try to swim on the beach front you might get hurt in the corals/rocks like my children. As in, several wounds with just one misstep. 

They have parking though.

Reviews failed me.

we noticed a bucket and ladle or "tabo" in the bathroom. Then we realized that the reason why they are there is because the shower does not work. The first room that they put us in, the TV does not work, the balcony door has broken hinge and maintenance  was called to fix it. He showed up and said that he'll fix it tomorrow.

Won't book with them ever again

Only got one night here but we loved it.We had a room with a little balcony to the back of the property facing the hills...I wish though I had paid a little extra and had the supreme spot overlooking the surf and surfers of this beach..there are balcony’s facing the sea....try and get one of these...you won’t be disappointed. Staff are great,we had a fridge, and jug ....nice soft chairs for tv watching , great Wifi and a safe.highly recommend!!!...just letting you know though...aircon was very noisy!

I booked a family suite when I was still in Dubai to secure a room for my family when I get home. The booking thru Agoda was convenient and payment was fair. Their Queen room is big enough for 5-6 people with 2 queen beds, and 1 sofa bed in the living area. It is situated near the sea which makes the whole thing extra nicer. Basic appliances were available to use and were all functional. Bathroom is spacious enough but shower wasn’t working that day (we were informed that the water shortage was La Union-wide) but tap was okay though. Towels and linens were all clean and dry, coffee and water were provided, the resident restaurant served meals and there are a lot of nearby food hubs to choose from at night.

Family-friendly hotel resort

We checked in at this hotel yesterday and was surprised and blessed that the owner told us that because it is the second time for us to book there and because they are flexible (not fully booked) at that time, we can upgrade and opt to get the room with balcony free of charge. Of course we did opted for it, it is free after all. Staff, service and facilities are all superb. Nice to know that this hotel keep record of all their guests, we are there early last year. It is more than worth of what we paid for. We will definitely be back. 

surprise upgrade

The room the was assigned to me was Room 3 located at the ground floor. 

Location: along the highway; beachfront 

Room: room was kinda outdated, most of my stay, tv was not functioning well (no signal). Also, i had a hard time opening the door, door keys wont fit well, i had to ask for help from the hotel crew. Linens and pillows though were clean. 

Food: i ordered their Longsilog, id say it tasted decent 

Crew: nice but they have to be very visible and attentive to their guest. When i woke up the following morning, there was no crew available. I was suppose to order breakfast.
