The Sea View Suite is ideal for a family, offering spacious accommodations, clean surroundings, and comfortable beds. Manager Jonas and his team were very welcoming, ensuring a professional and pristine dive experience. The food was FANTASTIC. Highly recommend Solitude Acacia!

Best diving experience for new divers!

Travel with my husband and son. 
3 days, 2 nights

Resort - cozy and private ambiance, quiet, clean, relaxing
Parking - spaces near your rooms so you don’t have to walk that far to transport your luggages
Room - spacious including toilet and bathroom; with shampoo, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste; no lotion
Restaurant - cozy, food tastes good. Breakfast is not buffet. Coffee is unlimited. They serve a small plate of fruits at breakfast. 
Pool - seems small but since the resort only accommodates few guests, the pool is not cramped with people
Bar - cozy too
Activities - kayak is free. You have to request this. There is island hopping, diving, and trekking. 

What makes this resort different is the ambiance. It’s really cozy. 

Cons:
Food is pricey. 

I read a review about the stairs. I counted 86 steps going up and down to our room. This does not include going to the beach. 

Customer service should be revisited. I called to ask if they accommodate room service. The one who answered my call kept on laughing. I had to repeat and get confirmation if I can really order. I got a yes with continuous laughing. She did not ask for my order. I mentioned it and I she just laughed. I doublechecked if she really got it. Again with the laugh. I was informed that the housekeeping staff used to prank each other on phone so they assumed that I was not a guest when I called. Another thing is that i observed that they clean up your plates and utensils even if you are not yet finished. They assumed that you are and while you are “taking a break” from eating, they will clean up. We stayed for 3 days and this is consistent. However, when you need coffee, they did not assume and they did not ask. I also noticed that after guests leave the restaurant, the staff talked about them loudly. 

These made me decide to do an early check out and eat in their restaurant.

Solitude Acacia Resort is a dive / snorkeling dream.  Resort Manager Jonas leads an amazing staff to provide a five star experience from the start to the finish.  Without a doubt some of the best diving / snorkeling we have ever experienced, and the resort, food and drinks are superb.  I highly recommend Solitude for all!!!!

Solitude Acacia Resort is Simply Amazing

Everything from the room, the lovely and super attentive staff, the pool, to the beautiful restaurant was perfect! There were breathtaking sunsets from the bar and the food was delicious . Thank you to Jonas and his amazing staff for such an unforgettable vacation! 
Totally recommended, by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Batangas.

Best hotel in Batangas!

It took work to set our plans for three adults and 3 kids by email, but they worked diligently to get everything set, hold the best rooms for our situation, and have diving ready to go!

Our instructor, Ricky, was great! Good English, patient with my 10 year old, and I swear could see further in the water than me! He found us neudebrant, octopus, mantis shrimp, turtles, and so many other hard to find creatures! 

They resort provided delicious meals at every turn, had paddle boards for us, and had every piece of equipment we had not thought of. Just perfect service, wonderful experiences and beautiful grounds. Loved every minute! 

Not easy to reach, but worth the effort! 

I brought a group of 21 divers to the resort for four days. It was a great experience! The rooms are really nice and clean - very comfortable for crashing after diving all day. The food was really amazing. We had the meal plan and the portions were generous and the food was really fantastic (the whole gorup commented how good it was). There was a great menu offering Philippine/Asian/American dishes. Diving was really well organized and left from in front of the resort each day. If you are going there for diving, you know how special it is! Logistics including a local tour were handled for me really well! The cocktails are really good there as well with two bars to choose from. Bottom line - expecially if you are leading a group - I would not hesitate to stay here at all. Group of 21 Divers - Great Experience

Great view, great rooms, great service and great food choices which come with the stay. Whether or not you dive or snorkle, this resort with its beautiful acacia tree giving shelter and peace, is perfect for that space and time needed to step back, enjoy time alone and with family. Booking queries and reservation were smooth through messenger and emails. The staff very courteous and helpful. The rooms, bed and bathrooms had good sizes, with desks, chairs and tables outside for relaxing, strong wifi and free coffee all day! The restaurant and bar services were good too.  
My family and I had plenty of bonding and rest. Highly recommended. We will be back! 

Sanctuary

I just left Solitude Acadia resort and it was fabulous. The food is diverse and  flavorful.  I could have stayed another week just to try all the dishes. I didn’t think they would do so many different cultural foods so well but they did.  The full board is worth the money. 

The rooms were large and clean. 

What really stands out is the diving. Ok we were there during typhoon Mawar so we weren’t able to dive the channel, but the dive staff went out of their way to give us the best diving experience possible.

Wonderful diving resort!

Nice property in Anilao.  We hired Ben for a diving/snorkeling day and he was superb.  I don't dive, only snorkel, and I felt well looked after--quite unusual at a dive resort.   The grounds are lovely, the pool is big enough to do half laps, cocktails at the bar are very good, the staff is very nice, the rooms acceptable.  Two areas for improvement:  they charge for every little thing (at an all-inclusive resort, I didn't expect this) and the food is merely acceptable.  We will return-- we liked the resort that much, but will never stay for more than two nights because the food is truly mediocre.    *****If you can't manage stairs, find a different resort.*****

Good for divers and snorklers

Amazing!! Had the BEST time. Food is amazing, rooms are really clean and nice. Staff are so friendly and accommodating. The manager Pernilla is EXCELLENT!! She is so on top of things and is so welcoming. Again the food is AMMMAAAZZZIIINNGGGG!! Highly highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!
