We stayed here because of the location. Nothing special. Simple basic rooms and basic breakfast. Was humbled to see the living conditions around us. Would agree with the one of the contributors. The roosters crow to wake you up early.

Cheap stay

Walking distance from the town, beach and from the port where tours leave made CED Pension an ideal location. The rooms were clean and quaint and although you don’t get a choice of food we couldn’t complaint about the free breakfast in the morning. Showers were hot and powerful enough, and WiFi is half decent (its not really too great anywhere in El Nido). The one thing that let it down really was the noise. Constructed from bamboo, the rooms let every sound from the street in. If you’re not a heavy sleeper earplugs are an absolute must! Cockerels crow throughout the night and the street outside is bustling from early in the morning with voices, bike engines and more. A great little place for anyone looking for low budget accommodation but definitely not one of the best places to stay in El Nido. We only stayed a few nights which was just enough - we probably couldn’t have stayed much longer. 

Clean and well located but noisy!

It was me and my fiance's first visit to el nido and we chose to stay at ced villas. I have to say my favorite thing about it was the people who ran it. Orlando, the owner was so kind. He drove us into town whenever we needed and made sure we were happy at all times. One night I ran out of money because all the atms were out of  cash and he paid for our trike ride and said we could pay him back. The rooms were very clean. The only downside were the roosters who woke us up early every morning and the breakfast wasn't the greatest. Overall we had a lovely stay.

Our visit to el nido

Nice clean room near the center of town. Comfy bed and the girls working there where helpful. Breakfast was average but filled you up. The location was good, near where all the locals lived which was great as everyone is so friendly. 

Relaxed clean and inexpensive.

Stayed here with my boyfriend for a week after booking through airbnb. The pictures showed a cute little bamboo room, so we thought it would be unique.

Pros:
- close to the centre of town and port where tours go from
- basic yummy breakfast included (eggs, pancakes, banana, tea/coffee)
- mopeds to hire for only £10/600php for a whole day. Only cost like £3 to fill the tank! 
- room cleaned daily, fresh sheets, mosquito nets (bit holey so could be replaced) 
- good air con, room gets very cold
- lovely host girl (didn't catch her name), she would clean daily and help with anything you need  

Cons:
- ridiculously noisy. There are gaps in the windows/doors as it is all bamboo, so you can hear absolutely everything going on in the street outside - motorbikes revving from 4am onwards, dogs barking/fighting at all hours, cockerels every few hours throughout the night - it meant we got hardly any sleep and felt knackered all week. You can even hear people walking in flip flops on the street outside. Ear plugs are essential if you stay here.
- power goes out regularly but this happens all over el nido, the girl would kindly bring us up a fan and turn the generator on when this happened
- very poor wifi, but again this is expected in el nido and just as bad in art cafe where people go to use wifi - have to accept this in such a remote location!
- room very small for two people, quite cramped and no space to sit or move around
- mirror in bathroom would be nice, our sink leaked underneath too, but it was a wet room so didn't really matter 
- shower water smells of egg for first few minutes, so let it run before you get in!

Overall we grew to like this place after a week and we're glad it was within walking distance of bars and the sea. We had some great days exploring on the moped to nacpan/maremegmeg beaches and also boat tours. 

The road is very dark/remote at night and not near many other accommodations.. you are literally living amongst the locals which was a great experience, however I probably wouldn't walk home alone as a female! One night a stray dog lying on a tricycle woke up and wanted to chase us down the street barking which was a bit scary! 

The host girl was lovely and very accommodating and went out of her way to make our stay pleasant.
