Wonderful and relaxing time at Suites by Eco Hotel! Staff made sure to give the comfort needed by their guests. Wonderful location!  🥰 Thanks to the kitchen  staff, maintenance staff, reception people including Marjun who made sure our stay will be memorable with his numerous tour tips. Thanks a lot!!

Awesome time we had!

This was a terrible place. A dog stole my shoe off the porch, they frequently have guests move rooms because they rent out subpar rooms, the staff is not helpful or knowledgeable. The power also goes out frequently and takes 10-15 minutes to turn back on, but this doesn't happen at the other end of the island.

OK THIS PLACE IS GREAT!!! being a former solar salesman and an avid diver I really love the ecological approach that they had to the hotel and they have a great little notes around everywhere telling you how they’re helping the environment I would recommend this hotel to anybody it’s beautiful it’s right on the beach it’s clean it’s safe and it’s in the best area of El Nido

BEST HOTEL FOR PROCE IN EL NIDO , RIGHT ON BEACH

We arrived at this hotel after we cancelled a more expensive, horrendous hotel further up the road.

There is nothing bad about this place... Its perfect!
The rooms are clean, light and airy.. The bed is comfy and the deck area is stunning... You are literally on the beach. 
Everything works in it including the TV and Ac. The breakfast is good... I just wish they would add pancakes to the menu! 

The WiFi can be hit and miss but that is everywhere here so it's not a problem.

There is a gorgeous resident cat and her kitten on site and as cat lovers we just loved them... Unfortunately we couldn't smuggle them home :)

Overall this hotel saved my stay in el nido and turned what could have been a disaster into a dream... The staff can't do enough for you and I thank them for being so attentive.

Gutted to be leaving but if you are after a comfortable, clean and happy stay ... Give this place a shot. You won't be disappointed!! 

This hotel saved my vacation! 

We moved here after being disappointed elsewhere and seeing this hotel right on the beach we regretted where we had booked even more.  On rebooking with them it just got better and better.  Location is perfect and on the beach in corung corung, adjacent to the main area.  Excellent rooms with egg chairs outside to listen to the sea at night.  All staff were brilliant from start to finish and help with rentals/trips.  Absolutely perfect set up all round - I can’t believe the average reviews, you certainly won’t regret staying here and be careful if you book elsewhere- don’t make the same mistake we initially made ! You can watch the sunset from the beach at the end of the hotel or pop next door to lions bar.  Perfect trip and we don’t want to leave.

Best Place to Stay in Corung

I would have to say this was the worse hotel I stayed at in the Philippines. I got food poisoning from their restaurant. The toilet leaked continuously even though they tried to repair it. A dog with a broken leg lived on the deck so I was unable to use it. They didn’t even supply tea and coffee making facilities. Very disappointed pointed.

Nothing ECO about ECO. Should be Eeeeek Oh!

There is a simple way to read Tripadvisor reviews... The ratings and the number of ratings... Actually this place has 79 ratings and a global note of 3 ! That's a warning ! It means a lot of people are complaining. And the management always finds excuses ! When a shower is cold, when you find rust In the bathroom, when the towels smell, it's a fact ! There is no excuses ! Well, I didn't stray in this hotel but as I was staying nearby in a cheapest and very nice resort, I passed by this place one day and I decided to have dinner there for Valentine's Day. They had a special Menu for that special occasion. 1200 peas per person, which is quite expensive for here ! So, we arrived there at 8 pm. My sister had booked a table for 4. She went there two times to confirm that we will have a table for 4. When we arrived, the restaurant was dressed up with tables for 2 ! We asked the staff to join two tables. They joined the tables but the cutlery was not in the same way. They started to move everything on the table... So, a bit annoyed, we took the table and turned it to align with the other one ! I never saw that level of stupidity ! We first wanted to order drinks... They told us they only have red and white wine. Really, nothing else ? Finally, they brought us a menu with the drinks. One of us wanted a beer but it was not on the menu. Then another of us asked if he can have a glass of white wine. They came back telling us that only red wine was served by glass. Ok, lets take a bottle of white wine. The bottle was hot ! Only the red wine was chilled... Usually, it's the contrary, if you know your job !!! The food was average, with an effort on presentation. Shrimp cocktail with a sauce beside that we have been warned of : it was pure chili concentrate ! Then, Grilled vegetables salad, awfully salty, we couldn't finish ! With a delicate taste of charcoal. We couldn't miss the way they cook it in the flame of the barbecue not far from the table, watered by so much oil that the smoke was everywhere. The Cordon Bleu was ok, but cold... And finally, the "Strawberry" Cheese cake was more on Blueberries, lol... And it was still frozen and certainly not a real cheesecake. The chocolate Mousse was... liquid ! We were two couples. We asked for the bill. That brought us separate bills... Can you imagine, inviting your wife for a valentine's dinner and sharing the bill ? We laughed a lot for so much stupidity and lack of professionalism. But this is not that funny. And finally : there was a cat in the restaurant, very cute, begging for food... The staff didn't do anything about that. But when when a big rat passed under our table, this adorable cat was not there to hunt ! So, I don't need your everlasting "Sorry, sir". I don't want your apologies. Your place was empty, you only trapped us. I just want the people to read this, and I want you to "think", if only you can...

Incompetent Staff Ever !

After a less than stellar experience in Coron, this was a refreshing change. They took sustainability to the next level. Their furniture and fittings looked like they all came from recycled goods. Their water was served in a glass bottle which was refillable in the cafe upstairs. Their shampoo, body wash, etc though not of the best quality was placed in large bottles to avoid wastage of small throw away plastic bottles. The room itself had warm lighting and the bathroom was functional. There was some construction going on outside but i was completely knackered from the days events to notice at bed time! the bed was very comfy and I would have given this place a five star rating had it not been for the overly large unwelcome guest in my bathroom. It had me rush to reception to ask them to remove the beast! And to anyone who wishes to know, it was a cockroach! Yes they do freak me out and I detest them immensely! 
I do have to mention the lovely staff there and i would be remiss if I did not mention the ever so helpful Eric who went out of his way to help me find an adaptor to charge my phone and provide a cushion for my garden swing chair! He made my stay very comfortable and I felt welcome. 
The hotel is ideally located on the beach and there were quite a few restaurants right next door. Having a massage parlour right there also helped me when i had my first encounter with sunburn!

Sustainable living!

Stayed with my girlfriend for 4 days and in general this could have been a great place...let's start with the positives:

- Great location with lots of options for tour bookings, dining and right on the beach
- Staff was generally excellent and very pleasant
- Rooftop was very nice and relaxing in the evenings

Now for the more extensive list (The Cons)
- The first they put us in (rm 116) was on the side where they are doing construction next door. They should have ASKED us if it was ok before putting us on that side. I did notice a sign on the desk however when we checked in, there was very little noise so it was a bit deceiving.
- The shower in the first room was clean/nice, but there is a window in there that has glass (that is not frosted or covered). Meaning that the people on the other side which was a storage room could see directly into the bathroom. Talk about invasion of privacy
- Ordered the chicken for breakfast one morning and 2-3 bites in, my GF realized that the chicken was RAW inside. When I brought it to the attention of the staff, they barely apologized and did not offer to do anything about it. DISGUSTING
- The 2nd room they put us in, rm 111 was much worse than the first in terms of the shower situation
- The 2nd room wreaked of mold/mildew from the AC unit. Also the AC unit did not effectively cool the room
- The 2nd room also had broken outlets
- There were about 3-4 power outages during our stay which was a big inconvenience especially when both my GF and I work online and need power/internet
- The blanket smelled strongly of mold. I asked the houskeeping staff and they promptly replaced it
- Towels were dark/dingy
- Not worth the money we spent (nearly $100 USD per night). Could have gotten something in South Florida for around the same price but 20x nicer
- The front desk staff was nice but there was one person that completely ruined our entire day by not using common sense when our tour called to confirm we were staying there. This led to us being late to the tour, me driving my motorbike to the peer by following the tour staff, us waiting for about 30 mins for them to "find us another boat" and then us having to wade through 5 and a half foot water with Sharp rocks and Dangerous Sea Urchins to a boat where every passenger looked at us with anger/disgust bc they had been "waiting on us for over an hour" eventhough this was not our fault whatsoever. We got onboard and thought the torture was over until 45 mins later, they told us to get off bc we're not on the right boat! We then had to wade back over the same rocks/urchins and my GF nearly drowned bc the water was up to her ears and we had valuables in our hands above our heads so couldn't even try to swim. It was not only extremely embarrassing having a boat of 20+ making sharp comments to their friends while we could hear them, but it was extremely dangerous! All of this could have been avoided if the girl at the front desk had put some thought into reviewing the names the tour company provided. Literally a 10 seconds review and confirmation could have saved us ALL of the above trouble. We literally came to El Nido for this 1 tour (the highlight of our trip) and it was completely ruined. Can't express just how upsetting this was for us.

Serious let down :(

Suites by Ecotel is the perfect hotel to stay for its location. One step BACK-you are on the Corong Corong bay beach, one step FRONT- you are in the Pop's district's street at filled with amazing restaurants. You should definitely try this hotel not only for its location but for its cute rooms and sweet hotel staff too 😊
