We chose to stay at this beach cottage resort with the fam for convenience purposes; since we will be out and about most of the time doing our island hopping and town exploring, this place is ideal. The rooms were ok, with the bare essentials provided. No TV or microwave or coffee brewer, the a/c was working properly. The toilet/bathroom serves its purpose except that water pressure is low and  water drains so slowly, causing a mini flood.
Breakfast was free; but not that great. Some of the guests said they used to have a buffet breakfast, and it was good. Wonder what happened, if it's true....if y'all are looking for a place just to crash in after a long day outside and if you're not picky, this place will serve its purpose. There are a lot of restaurants in the area next to this place and it's only like 5 minutes away from the town proper (via tricycle) where there's more foodie places and souvenir shops.

Fambam Getaway

Very Friendly staff. Beautiful beach front hotel!! We stayed for three days and I very much enjoyed my time there. The staff was wonderful and the location is great. I would definitely recommend this hotel!!!

Beautiful Hotel. Wonderful Staff!!

Would not recommend. Waited 15 minutes for drinks to come when few people were here. Burger was basically chard. More than half of the menu was not available. The one redeeming factor was the French fries were decent.

Poor food and service

First, of fall the rooms here were quite good actually and I really loved this place especially the owner and the staff were amazing, Special shout out for Helyn -- who's always so kind, friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, helpful, and making us feel most welcomed as if we were home.

I would rate it 10 star if i had that many

We happened to get this lodging at the last minute because the place where we going to get was booked out. But this Telesfora Beach Cottages turned out to be the better deal price wise and location too. The room smells good and super clean.  It has a restobar which is just a few feet away from the beach and you can rent a paddle boat, kayak and snorkeling gears. The staff are all so friendly.

Hidden gem

They sent us out on a boat with a broken canopy and everybody got terrible sunburn. Lied & said they’d fix for day 2. No refund or discount. Boat: Spur Travel - Owner Florante V. Alfas. Rude crew too!

Don’t Use Their Island Hopping Service

These beach cottages were basic - they were nice but could do with a refurb in some areas. 
WiFi was poor from the rooms but good in the main reception. We did not get breakfast included it was quiet in day time but perfect spot for sunset in the evening. Staff were nice, laid back chilled environment . You will need to ask them to clean the rooms each morning otherwise they won’t clean them! 

Good value, could do with a clean up 

We stayed at telesfora for a few nights just my partner and I, we asked for a sea facing private cottage. We didn’t realise that between the sea facing cottage and the sea was the hotel restaurant which could look straight into our glass door cottage. Definitely not worth asking for sea view and I couldn’t be any less private. 
The hotel is more like a guest house, a step up from a hostel. It was still fine as the location was lovely, absolutely amazing sunsets, easy walk along the beach to massage or shops. It wasn’t too bad. The main problem with this type of accomodation is that it relies on the atmosphere of the common areas since you are living in such close proximity and my experience of a good guest house has always been the welcoming staff who make you feel quite at home. 
Unfortunately this was not Telesfora. One or two staff were approachable however the majority would look away or not look up when we walked pass. This left the atmosphere a little flat. 

Very basic 

Sadly, I wasn't able to capture photos of their accommodation. But, if you want to get the best out of your money, this is a place to stay. The staff and the owner is also accommodating. I would really recommend this place.

Eco-friendly Budget Hotel

We were upgraded to this resort when our reservation at a different hotel was lost.  We were thrilled!  It's so peaceful away from the noisy road right next to the beach and also right next to the walking mall with amazing food.

The staff makes such a difference here.  Always friendly, greeting you when they pass by, and excited to help with anything you need BUT not getting into your space if you prefer privacy.  Asked about prices and they were very reasonable.  All day coffee and tea and breakfast there was very nice.  Great garden by the rooms as well.

Negatives are very few:
-occasional sewage smell near the bathroom (not bad)
-noiey air-con but we didn't use it much
-no screens on the windows.  Mosquitoes weren't too had but my gf hates them so we had to keep the windows closed at night.  Room stayed comfortable all night though.
