It's a hostel but I bought a room with bathroom, air conditioning, ventilator and breakfast for 30 euros a day. It will be a little spartan but the owner is very cute, young and deserving. It is in the center of the village (a beautiful place to visit absolutely, at the level of Polynesia at a quarter of the price and it rains much less here).

It's great for savings travelers.

Amazing helpfull staff, shout out to Joy! Great hostel if your on a budget since breakfast is included. The hostel gives you a home feeling. I intended to stay 3 nights and ended up extending to 10 nights! You get free water and can use the kitchen to make your own food. I will definatly come back. I love thos hostel!

Perfect hostel for the budget solo traveller

Terrible experience! The one star is for its promixity to a lot of places in the area which I think is the only good thing about the place. We can walk to just about anywhere. We have been to many simple transient houses/inns/lodges but never this disappointed.

(We were 10pax with 3 rooms)
*When we arrived two rooms were only reserved according to the receiving area lady but reservation was 3 so we had to wait and stand on the street with all our bags before they finalized discussing everything (real hassle when you came from a long land travel) 
*They asked if we could just drop our things in one room while they clean the rooms (Shouldn't this be done before if you were expecting guests to arrive?) we said yes anyway and just went on a halfday tour 
*When we arrived room was not really clean and sheets didn't seem to have been changed (There was even a huge stain on one). No blankets too until we asked. We were fine that they didn't give towels. One pillow per person was fine too we didn't expect much anyway.
*AC was old, working but weak. They left a fan in the room, it worked for a few hours and gone the next.
*room light was very dim too
*The toilet is really the worst part - we had to shout for someone to open the door for us! don't try to close the toilet door if you are alone because you will get stuck there for all eternity! Two rooms out of the 3 we stayed in had that problem. It wouldn't open from inside the toilet. A hook or a towel bar would be nice too so change of clothes won't get wet since the toilet is very small. Never mind the loose faucet or the weak water pressure since we understand this is really a problem in the area but please fix the door!!!
*Breakfast was of course small as expected from most transient homes. We really appreciated the server when they gave us a little extra at no cost even if we were willing to pay for it.
*plus point for free wifi 

We weren't expecting a five star accommodation, not even 3 stars, we were just expecting a simple room with simple items every guest needs to feel a bit comfortable. Unfortunately this guesthouse needs to fix a lot of things. Price is not commensurate to the experience.

Terrible experience :(

What an amazing staff!!!! The girls are so welcoming and helpful. We wanted to stay one more night but they were full and the girl went to find out a room. Unbelievable. When we checked out we had a whole day tour and after she let us have a shower and booked us a van to Puerto princesa. Thank you so much!! It's so close to everywhere. Rooms are ok. Nice breakfast 

Amazing personal, great location 

The service is awesome. The girls at the front desk are very welcoming, will book all of your activities for you cook a great american or filipino breakfast. 

Bacuit Lodge is a good location in the town proper very close to everything yet we found our private room on the second floor very quiet.

Incredible

This is a budget hotel, with a very tiny CR. The only nice thing here is because it's in the town center. Our disappointment was from the brownout experience the whole afternoon until the evening and we can't even charge our phones.😞 We Have to ask the receptionist to tell owner that we need to charge and sleep at least with a fan. (We paid for 1k priced room with aircon and breakfast) So after asking the staff and bugging them to tell owner, the electricity came and we wondered if it was the generator or finally the brownout was over. In any case you're wondering, the owner has generator in the first place but didn't care enough to turn it on until someone( I guess)  complains or asks. Well, to top this disappointment, the curtain holders needs to be replaced, they're broken and kept falling on the bed, which we have to fix again and again. Anyway, this place is a lodge and more of a backpacker place, through price is too high for people who wants a budget quality place.  You can get a nice backpacker place with lesser price (700-800) with a better room and CR. I suggest the owner should at least give discounts to guests that experience brownouts. 

Not A Value For Money

This lodge is family run with a touch of genuine hospitality. Toilet facilities are what you would expect from any local lodge, but comfortable and functional. Towels provided but bring your own personal toiletries.  The location is good as it is halfway accessible to the commercial area of El Nido and the island hopping starting and drop off point. Breakfast was ok but for the accommodation price, it was a good deal. They were also very kind to let us use their shower facility after check out and after island hopping. For hospitality and reliability, I give this lodge a perfect 10.

What I liked about best was that they booked us to an island hopping a and c combination with a responsible operator and the lunch was great. They arranged everything for us and made our El Nido your a pleasant experience.

Genuine hospitality

The hotel is located in a quiet area and very close to everything, although it does not have a common place for guests or large luxuries, the rooms are very spacious and have a private bathroom, the place is impeccable and they clean the rooms every day, the breakfast is included and although not very abundant, it is fine, Dominique the manager is very kind and always attentive to what the guest needs, we hire a tour, van to port princess and a motorbike with them and everything excellent and at a good price, the only thing is that the bathrooms are very small and the water pressure is low, since we have to bathe with a minimum of chorrito.

A good place to spend a few days.

We had to ask for a new toilet paper roll and the towel change even though the rooms were only three... there's never anyone at the entrance who doesn't feel comfortable leaving their belongings in the room... but cheap and quiet.

There's better.

Positive: big bright clean room for 800p Negative: VERY small bathroom, cold water even though we were assured that it would have warm water when we checked in. If we wanted to rent the room first for 1000p - honestly it's a bit... Generally: friendly but very reserved staff. If you want to have the room cleaned, you have to ask explicitly about it.
