Most of the accommodations in Sagada are really nice and comfy and one thing that it has in common are the "common or shared bathroom". Well! We are surprised that their room has a private bathroom, so you don't need to be aware of your length of use or while doing your rituals. 

Shamrock Tavern Inn has all the things that will make your stay in Sagada worthwhile and comfortable.

They Go The Extra Mile For The Average

The location is 20mins walk to the bus station and a few minutes walk to the restaurants.
Our room has 5single beds, no TV, with clean linens and 1pillow per guest. Towels and small soaps are provided. There is also a water heater at the shower. Free wifi at the lobby. Breakfast is not included but their breakfast price is reasonable. I would book at another hotel next time as I find it difficult to walk uphill every time we go back to the hotel.

Just right for their price

Shamrock tavern is all in one hotel, nice place for friends and families travelling in sagada with complete tour packages, and comfortable stay.! Just in the center of the all tourist spot and restaurants, they also offer menu that you love and enjoy with family and friends.

COMFORTABLE

My primary requirement for a place to stay in Sagada is that it should have its own parking space as we were driving. This is one of the places that has a parking space and that was near the town proper. Most every place is about 10 to 15 minutes away on foot. And their parking space in front of the main inn is secured enough from the other vehicles that pass through the main road, 
The beds were ok as well as the cleanliness of the rooms. The hot shower was also adequate considering that water supply has always been an issue. Breakfast was good as well.
We had a relaxing time at Shamrock Tavern.

We were group of 3 when we stayed here during my vacation in the Philippines. The inn is just like 5-10 minute walk from the town proper/bus station. The location is pretty good. The hotel doesn't have an elevator or escalator, as expected in a remote area, so prepare your knees after a very tiring day while exploring Sagada. Also to mention that the road going up to the main entrance is uphill, so you need to have a lot of energy. Then room has a balcony and doesn't need an aircon or fan as Sagada has a pretty cool climate. It wasn't big, a very limited space each room. We have a private bathroom with hot shower. There is no available staff always in the reception. We booked through travelbook and we were satisfied with the stay. No major problem.

Satisfied Stay

there is no transportation in Sagada no tricycles, no taxi or jeepny, so if You come by bus from Manila or Bagio you have to carry your belongings about 1 mile by foot
to get to hotel. Stuff is friendly but in Philippine you hardly can find unfriendly people.
Breakfast is basic but expensive - so eat outside. To get back to Manila by bus, you have to pay to hotel driver for 1mile 150-200 peso.
Sagada is great place - just go to right hotel.

I dont know what happend, but the previous bad reviews are not true in our case!!!

We stayed in the Shamrock Tavern Extension, family room (#302) was huge, clean, big bathroom.

Staff was very friendly and hard working in both, either at the Shamrock Tavern or the Extension.

Yes, it is true they clean the rooms every 2 days only, but that was for us ok.

The breakfast is in the mainhotel served and especially the Filipino breakfast is huge. Tea with honey delicious.

Next to the hotel is a water refilling station where you can refill your 1 liter bottle for only 8 Pesos.

Parking lots are available and if they should be full, than in town are looots of spaces for only 150 pesos overnight.

Laundry service are also offered here.

Very friendly and helpful, clean Hotel

Was part of the package booking but I wish I checked the web page first. Overall room is reasonably clean but only do the cleaning every two days.   The room we were booked is not well ventilated so it was difficult to get rid of the smell of the bleaching agent used for cleaning. There is ample heated shower facility but it's not for the health and safety conscious. Toilet needs toilet seat. Overall it needs upgrading!  There is a karaoke bar on the ground floor but the staff are dishonest of charging price drinks even though I pointed out that it was not what on the price list. They just completely ignore me. I guess they do this as I was with a foreign guest even though I'm a Filipino and speak the lingo.
I'm afraid I'm not going back or recommend this place. Staff are reasonably friendly but not offering extra such as offering a drink or helping with your luggage. Except when selling their products.
