Located in the middle of the town center , you'll have access to everything you need - stores, restaurants, government, ATM, souvenir. The guesthouse is kept clean, it's quiet, comfy lounge areas, limited breakfast options but enough to start the day with. Staff and Reception are helpful and efficient. This will be our go to accommodation whenever in Sagada.

We booked for 2 nights at isabelo's--
July 19-21, 2022

1. The location is smack dab in the center of town. Right across is the tourist information center and market, and beside it is the municipal hall. About 200meters down the road is the famous yoghurt house and about 300meters up is St. Mary's Cathedral (an Anglican n church) and the echo valley where the hanging coffins are. 
2. The owner/innkeeper was very accommodating - - from the time I inquired until the time we arrived. He even assisted us in parking our car at the back of the inn.
3. The inn itself is  very clean however you will only be provided with a roll of tissue paper and bath towel so make sure you bring toiletries.
4. Breakfast is included but if you book for just a room and decide to have breakfast there, it will only cost you ₱180.00.
All in all our isabelo's experience was very nice. It's  5⭐s for me😊

Isabelo's😍

Isabelo's is just opposite the main bus stop, jeepney stop and the tourism office making it a convenient place to stay. Its close to many restaurants stores and souvenir shops. The place is clean and as we took the room with the private bath, it had a small balcony which we liked as well. 
On both days we stayed, there was a power outage in town which maybe expected in this hilly area. However, its important to bear in mind that the Inn has to back up generator so its best to charge anything important while you can. 
The WiFi was OK. Not fast for streaming  but definitely alright. (There are no TVs in the room.) 
The bathroom was a bit small as the toilet is wedged between the door and the wall in an awkward manner. 
Considering the price paid, I would say the Ammenities would be average and the staff weren't overly friendly as well. The restaurant was non-functional at the time however breakfast was included with a generous serving of Omlette or different silogs. 
Overall we had a good stay. Would definitely pick it for convenience if your spending most of your day out and about and just using it to sleep. But it's important to keep your expectations in check. 


Clean and a  convenient location. However a few points to keep in mind. 

There are tons of homestays and inns within the downtown or further away from downtown however Isabelo’s Inn is the cheapest that I could recommend as it is near in bus stop going back to Baguio/Manila and Tourist Information Center. The room rate here per night is less than a thousand peso (less than $20 USD) for a fan room with a common bathroom. It is very cold in Sagada so no need for a room with AC. The inn also offers free wifi.

Please take note that there are no luxury hotels in Sagada. Most of the inns here offer shared spaces like bathrooms and kitchens. Some inns offer a private bathroom. Choose a place to stay that is near to a terminal and to the tourism office so you won’t have to walk a lot especially that Sagada is a hilly place so it will be challenging for some tourists to walk around the town especially senior citizens. In my case, I walked around downtown and asked the locals where to stay at a cheap rate that’s why I ended up in Isabelo’s Inn.

Affordable and located in a prime location!

The staffs are really nice.  When i arrived early in the morning, they let me have my bags for safekeeping while strolling. They even had me checked in early (depends on the availability). Manong, who is in charge of the reception that day was helpful and even offered me to avail one of the breakfasts. Really nice.
Location was awesome. It was close to stores, market, restaurants, sight-seeing, bus terminal and church.
The room was big enough for me knowing i got it in a lower price.

Staff, Location, Value for Money

The location is so central you can see the tours office and bus station from your room.
I had a twin share with shared bathroom and it was perfect 
Big breakfast, basic rooms, nice upstairs view point and friendly staff. Everything’s about this place is cheap and easy.
WiFi works best from downstairs

Budget excellence 

We got a room for 4 which supposedly a room for 5 for 400 each. Room for me is not worth the price but for convenience it is somehow acceptable since it is just fronting the tourism office of sagada plus it is located i should say centrally of the town center of sagada. They dont do refund if ever u already left ur belongings in the room.

Isabelo's Inn & Restaurant

My group rented 2 rooms over 4 nights in March. I think the current Tripadvisor rating of 4 stars for this place is a accurate reflection - nice but not fantastic. Most of the northern Phillipines mountains lack significant infrastructure and so the hotels that exist are all around this mid-range market. There is nothing luxurious here.

Here are my thoughts on the Isabelo Inn.
PROS
* CLEAN - Very very clean. In fact every time I passed the hosts they were usually cleaning something, which was very much appreciated.
* POWER PLUG - I know this sounds strange but this is a luxury in the North
* LOCATION - Located very close to the coda lines bus depot but on a slight side street so you didn't get street noise. You can walk to here from the bus station. You can walk from here to pretty much all of the attractions like echo valley, etc. The tourist office was just next door for organising guided tours.
* VALUE - 900 Philippine peso for a double room with private bathroom a night 
* BREAKFAST - Man the breakfast here was good! The omelettes were I think 150-180p and used the freshest ingredients. 
* SERVICE - Friendly staff
* ROOM - The room was fairly big and the whole place was finished with wood to give that log cabin feel. 

CONS
* WIFI - scatty. It didn't really reach our rooms consistently. It was best used on the ground floor at breakfast time but easily became slow if there were too many users. 
* BATHROOM - Hot water was good but the bathroom had bad pressure. It also was one of those shower + toilet in same room situations so it was hard to keep the toilet dry. We couldn't flush our toilet paper so had to keep it in the bin next to the toilet, but this didn't get changed when we were there so it subsequently made the bathroom stink and the smell permeated into the room to a minor degree.
* WATER - Had to pay for filtered water at 15 peso for 1.5L.

Overall this is a great option in the fairly limited sagada market. It has some minor drawbacks but is a comfortable place to stay.

Solid 4 stars

Stayed here for 2 nights last weekend in a double room with shared bathroom and paid only approximately 2k, payment includes a very filling breakfast! There are 3 shared bathrooms in the 3rd floor.  
Location is very ideal since it’s just behind the municipal hall, beside the Coda Lines office and near the Tourism Office.

Best value, good location

Reasonably priced. Generally clean single room, common restrooms and dining area. Bed was comfy. With fan, cabinet, mirror, hangers, desk and chair in the room. Walls were thin (plywood) so you could hear the hallway footsteps and loud chatter from the other rooms.

With hot shower but the shower current was not that strong; water coming from the faucets was strong though. Toilet paper and towel were provided.

With wifi within the reception area but it was really slow (not the inn's fault). Very filling breakfast (one dish, fried egg, side veggies, rice or toast, beverage). Drinking water refill was available (for a very minimal fee).

Owners and staff were courteous and professional. 

Downtown. Few steps from the tourism office, Coda Lines booking office, public market, police station. Walking distance to the hospital, jeep/van transport bay, St. Mary's Church and Echo Valley. On the same road as the frequented restos and souvenir shops.

Would stay here again.
