The food i terrible. We didnt get the food we ordered. But that was ok because it was uneatable anyway. The veggie delight with tofu is just plain canned vegetables. Without tofu. 
Then they charged 250 pesos for everyone dipping their feet in the ocean.

Terrible

It was a chance trip. Staff are accommodating. Room is ok. Not so much to do if you're not a diver. We had to go to the other side of the beach for a swim. Food is expensive but ordinary. Breakfast are the usual fried rice, scrambled egg, processed meat and coffee...

"Basic"

Yeah, this is a great place to stay with if you are looking for a budget acommodation. We pay only for 1 night but we were allowed to use the room for 2 full days because there were few guests during our visit. (You should practice yoir bargaining skills to double up the accommodation time.) Diving spot I must say it is only a 5/10 because of the murky water under but a great experience though. And yes, if you are looking for a budget hotel, this one is a good one.

Suddenly

We paid too much money for just one night. We went there in 2011 and the owner said that he would give us a discount when we visit they next time. However, they didn't when we visited there. We couldn't get the family room because they said it had no electricity. But it still works. They wouldn't give us the family room and "forced" us to buy the more expensive rooms. All in all, I paid 19,000 pesos for one night instead of 9,000. They gave us 3 rooms but we used only 2. No soap, toothbrushes, towels, etc. The bathrooms are extremely filthy, the fridge and AC doesn't work, and you have to pay for breakfast and for coffee. And the breakfast isn't even good. There's dog feces everywhere and flies. They basically cheat you out of your money. We were the only people there too. WORD OF ADVICE: DON'T EVER COME HERE.

TERRIBLE &OUTRAGEOUS PRICE  ASTA LA VISTa

This pioneer resort has seen better days. Still draws guests because of its affordable room rates compared to the newer upscale hotels in the area. Anyway, it was just for a place to rest and sleep.  Our family stayed here for snorkeling adventure in marine sanctuaries. 

Basic features of deluxe/family room for 6  we stayed in include: a/c, hot/cold shower, cable tv, refrigerator. No wifi. The room is clean. But the bed/mattresses are uncomfortably hard. The pillows are clean and soft.

Staff are friendly and accommodating.  Our speedboat operator, Mang Jun, is friendly and very helpful. 

No beachfront but water is clear and clean. It has a marker as to how far the shallow water is. This helpful if you have small kids. Their pool is old but very clean. I swam a few laps myself and the water is warm in the early evening when the sun has already set.

Accommodation include breakfast with several options. Disappointed that they do not serve brewed coffee.
