The room was acquired on-site, which was cheaper than booking.com. They had me wait a few mins because they had to prepare the room. The single room was tiny, which was not an issue. However, the bed was a sofa-bed and this room was at the very end of the hallway and the door to the room adjacent to mine was literally a set outside my door. The issue with the proximity of the door was that the frequency and loudness of the opening and slamming of the door was so annoying to listen to all night--not sure if this was a staff room as it was literally constant opening/closing of the door. The cherry on top was that they had a bowling alley. Yes! Right inside the hotel. Fun, fun, fun! Except if you're given the room that's directly above the pinsetters and you will have the pleasant sounds of bowling pins meeting their demise every few minutes until they close down the bowling halls. Thank goodness, I have been blessed with the ability to sleep to a lot of things, but that still doesn't negate the annoyance of the noise pollution in this room when I'm not asleep.

Cleanliness was great. Bathroom was great. There was a dead/smushed fly on my window. Bed sheets and blankets and pillows were great. I would not stay here again.

The place has nice deco, lovely atmosphere, staff is very welcoming and helpful. The food is delicious and fresh. There is free Wifi. The restaurant is very clean including toilets. Prices are reasonable. All the best to the owners.
