My partner and I spent a week here in August. The guy who runs the place, Andre, was very welcoming. The accommodation is a very modern and well designed apartment block which I think houses twelve units across three floors. Andre's house is also on the plot of land, right next to the apartment block and guests have the use of the large garden behind the apartments - this features a large lawn, a covered terrace, a barbeque and a kiddy's climbing frame on a soft rubber surface. There is parking space for four cars on the property itself, which is protected by an electronic gate, and the overspill uses the grassed area the other side of the property boundary. If the beach is you thing, it's five minutes' walk.

Our apartment was like a luxurious hotel room, very clean and very well appointed, with comfortable double bed, table and chairs, large flat screen TV, en-suite shower room and large built in wardrobe. Each floor has a kitchenette and the guests on the floor share the fridge, which worked OK while we were there, there was no problem with keeping our stuff segregated. We were given our own cutlery and crockery at the start of the stay which we kept in the room and washed up as required. Our first floor room also had a small balcony overlooking the garden, big enough for two folding chairs, which were provided, as well as a clothes dryer.

The resort was unbelievably lively when we were there in peak season, but the apartment is set back from the main drag by about 200m, just enough to be very quiet and peaceful. the main drag through the village was full of every type of shop, restaurant, amusement and market stall known to man when we were there. Everything is very reasonably priced in comparison to the UK. A decent three course meal and a couple of drinks costs around £10 per person. A single scoop of Italian gelati standard ice cream cost around 65p. Diesel was around 95p a litre. My partner, who makes jewelry, was very pleased to buy two necklaces of genuine Baltic amber (which is a speciality of the area) for £5 each, with copious amounts of amber chips in each.

The free Wi-Fi worked fine. There was a good bicycle rack in the garden to which we were able to lock our bikes overnight. If you are keen leisure cyclists as we are, its worth noting that there are good cycle paths going in both directions from Dzwirzyno, east to the big town of Kolobzreg or west to the pretty village and port of Mrzezyno.

There is a medium sized Polo supermarket just 150m from the apartment, back towards the main road. If you want cheaper grocery shopping, there's a Lidl in Kolobzreg which is easy to find.

Good restaurants in Dzwirzyno in walking distance include the fish restaurant Smazalnia Rib U Mirka, Pobity Gary's and Mesa - check them out on Trip Advisor.

All in all, I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Great holiday appartment in nice resort

I booked that place for my parents...and they said that everything was perfect, owner nice and friendly, room cosy, modern,very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, perfect stay, great value for money!!! 

although there is a kitchenette -would be great to have a kettle in the room
