The hotel was fine, staff is great. Rooms are fine for the price. Location is good. No AC so had to sleep with windows open and never got a proper nights sleep because of a barking dog on an adjacent property just to the right end of the hotel as you are facing the building from the front. 

Reported it twice to the reception staff and they played dumb and didn’t know where the dog was. It was barking as we arrived back and it was easy to spot the dog. Someone from the property came up to the chain link fence and told us the dog has a right to be out there and it’s a wild bore causing the dog to bark. 

I recorded this and came back to tell the night receptionist, who now knew about the dog, said they had complaints, approached the owner and was treated rudely. It sounds like they never reported this to police or by-law enforcement.  

So if you get a room on that end of the building and have to leave a window open be prepared to be jarred awaked several times per night. 

This is the last time I will ever go there again.

Nice hotel but there is a barking dog

I stayed at this hotel for two days in August 2018.
It has some good points: easy access, good parking facilities, but at some distance from Gdansk itself. It serves a good breakfast and has a pleasant outdoors facility to enjoy a drink. The bar staff is very friendly too.

However, coming back to the hotel after my first day I found out hat the room had not been cleaned, everything was left as I had left it in the morning except that the towels had been changed. I thought this was an oversight so I reported the matter to the reception. They were adamant however that this was their standard practice and that "they never touch the bed".

I said that in 40 years of international travel I had yet to find a hotel that thought they didn't need to clean the rooms.
But of course I just did....

Their explanation was " but we're not really a hotel"

I stayed here for two nights, to visit a friend in Sopot. The hotel and its facilities are very much outdated, the design and furniture seem to be stuck in the 90's or before.....
However the hotel is well kept and the rooms are extremely clean. I didn't eat much there as I was out most of the time but breakfast was good and the one lunch I had was also good. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant staff was also nice but could smile a bit more. Level of English was not great. 
Bottom line - good value for money and a great place to stay, rooms are spotless clean and if you don't look for a 5 star hotel but a quiet cosy place, that's the perfect hotel to stay.
