Quite decent apartment (don't know anything about the rooms), spacious, clean and relatively quiet - even being surrounded by a number of car garages and workshops does not add too much noisiness. Location is half-decent, views are industrial, but there is easy access to trams and grocery shops. It takes about 15-20 mins relaxed walk to get to the beach.
The biggest BUT that overshadows the advantages , was the dreadful behaviour of the owner. As soon as we started negotiating the price for the additional person in the apartment, the lady just left the room quickly without saying a word. We just said the price was to high and she felt offended. We spent several minutes thinking what to do next, but nothing happened so I went to look for the lady. I rang the bell at the door and I then took part in in a sort of tragicomic Shakespearean balcony scene where the landlady (standing on her balcony above) was accusing us of being potential cheaters and I was trying in vain to ask her if she was going to continue with price negotiations. Since then, we could hardly see her, by the end of our stay, she sent over her son to collect the money. And she, indeed, reduced the price, but there was no 'sorry' and even no 'goodbye'.  That pretty much spoilt the large part of our holidays. I would definitely NOT recommend this place to anyone.

Any advantages overshadowed by owner's rudeness

EVENT
I booked accommodation through booking.com. We planned to arrive in the evening around 8pm. Unfortunately, due to random events we arrived around 11pm. During the day we knew that we would be late, so we made an attempt to contact. Unfortunately, the phone (made around 20) was not answered, and the message sent by the booking application also did not give any effect. It was written on the booking site that you could check in until 10pm. However, we were an hour ... yes, an hour too late, at 11pm. The telephone was still not answered, so we called the intercom. An old lady in pajamas opened us, said the check-in was until 10pm and closed the door. I rang the bell again several times, and tried to explain and apologize for being late, but the lady repeated again 3 times "please leave the area and close the gate" and then closed the door again. So we went to the hotel. And that there would be no doubt - I closed the gate.
MY OPINION
I understand that you may not be happy with late guests, but 23 is not the middle of the night. This situation has not happened to me yet, and many times I came late to different places, of course, warning the hosts, which I wanted to do this time too. It seems to me that handing us the keys and showing us the way would not be a superhuman effort, but apparently the lady decided that controlling her emotions would not be worth the few hundred zloty's that we were about to leave there.
