Good meals, great choice if you like to chill with massive views. Fantastic landscape, power of mountain, nice pool, very friendly restaurant staff always smiling and helpful, (cost-cutting management though definitely not 3 stars) avoid reception, they won`t help as they learned to use PC`s just yesterday. 2 TV channels in a TV that you feel is gonna break down any minute! No hair dryer or kettle in the room!!! There is not much for children. Middle of no-where. Great restaurants all around - no shops closeby. Forget the romantic dinner! You`re unable to order meals at 8PM - Tragic!

The staff are really doing evverything they can to make up for the low and poor management of the place

The hotel is located far outside of Jelenia Gora / Hirschberg on a country road. Walking in the evening is only in the small park. The hotel makes a good impression and the shoe-swimming hall is really good. The services are friendly, the housekeeper is helpful and the half-pension meal is good. This was now the positive. - it was not possible to know what is available for dinner. - that once in the morning there was no hot water for showering, - that once again the coffee at breakfast was all, - that the wine was without any mention in the map (red / white) no matter, since the glasses were without ice cream, what it should be.

The hotel Jan is located far outside Helena Gora.The first, outer impression is positive.The house makes a clean impression.But then...WLAN only works in the reception area, in the dining room only a few lamps are on, the plates are immediately removed from the table, although others are still eating,the wine offer consists of two bottles, there is a lack of a cozy bar, the rooms are unlovely and then comes the night: roasted mattresses, no latte, you sleep very badly.

Never again

We're really not sophisticated, but this hotel seems to have its good times behind it! We booked a Romantic Weekend right on the website and were just disappointed! First we didn't get the bathroom with bathtub shown on the website (allegedly a mistake on the page), the TV didn't work, the WiFi didn't work. In our apartment, there were 3 whole light bulbs missing. There were dark brown sprays on the toilet glasses and we found cut fingernails on the carpet floor. The food was simply provided for us without remark, we couldn't even lie between two dishes. It tasted terrible and it didn't have any salads. My dishes were so hot at the time, so that we had to eat romantically in a couple of weeks and then we didn't have to eat so much tea on the floor.

Totally disappointing.

We stayed with about 40 people for a few days in August at the Hotel Jan. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor and did not meet the standard of a 3 star hotel. Dirty carpets in many rooms defective shower cabins, defective toilet goggles, broken mattresses etc...Cleaning of the rooms was very poor.Service in the restaurant was understaffed and thus overwhelmed!!!! Hot or cold drinks could not be ordered during the 9-19 hours.

Bus travel

A very good mid-range hotel with its own swimming pool. Relaxing reception..... good local knowledge of the staff...... located just outside Jelenia Gora but with bus stop right outside the door...... good kitchen, which does not require bags...😊
