Very nice and affordable family hotel. Very quiet and the management does everything for one. We were staying there with several colleagues for 6 weeks. Due to Covid-19, there was only a lunch pack instead of a breakfast buffet, but it was very rich. Also, the laundry is washed without any problems for a person. The hotel also includes a small restaurant where there are burgers and Polish fast food. Very highly recommended. Come back.

Living in the castle

Went for a sporting event in Poland and found this beautiful gem of a hotel. In which we had a big nice room topped off by an equally good sized bathroom and excellent service by the staff. 

We will definitely keep this place in mind for our next visit in the region 

Excellent service and room

This is the best hotel in Bolków. Very convenient location for exploring the town and the surrounding areas. Lots of privacy. New clean comfy quiet rooms, good breakfast. Free parking lot right outside.

Best hotel in Bolków

We were very pleasantly surprised by this cute hotel. The room was large, comfortable and the decoration was very nice. The breakfast was decent, and the manager spoke english, which is not always the case in that region!

Cosy place

The small town of Balkov Poland is off the beaten path. According Villa Elizabeth owner (see photo) they don't get many US visitors.  The rooms in Villa Elizabeth were very nicely decorated and clean.  My only complaint about the room was the room window treatments offer very little opportunity to obtain privacy from the prying eyes from buildings across the street and the night street lights.  We had to put our robes on each time we got up out of bed to move around the room.  Breakfast was a surprise offering of cheeses, cold cuts, perfectly fried eggs and variety of breads.  With the exception of Hermes Restaurant owner and a couple of other village residents we passed on the street during a walk around the town, none of the people we passed returned our smiles or greeting of "Hello".  The Villa Elizabeth restaurant was not open during our visit.  This was lucky for us because we got to eat some authentic Polish cuisine at Hermes Restaurant (see photos). Before departing we visited the local Balkov Castle (see photo). Built during the 13th century, it was improved when Jakub Parr added some Renaissance inspiration to the structure during the 16th century. For many centuries, the castle was used to house monks, yet today it’s become a site of various annual events including a prominent rock music festival.

We stayed here for a few days (two adults and a 10-year-old child).. The hotel is really impressive both in the interior and the exterior. Photos are attached). Cozy corners in the lobby of each floor where you can sit at night.. Free tea, sweets. A bottle of Polish water for everyone in the room. Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:00 a.m. Everyone has been hired) omelette, sausages, bacon, a variety of fresh bread, crispy buns, cheeses, sausage slices and branches, mussels, jams, fresh vegetables, a huge selection of tea, coffee (coffee machine).

very friendly, clean and modern. very nice rooms, exelent food in the morning. very cheap in the center of town. nice and helpfull people in the hotel, very quiet, new furniture , clean an big bathrooms, nice outdor terasse for smokers.

1.class hotel

Visiting Poland for the first time I came across this lovely B&B, not only is it a beautiful building which by itself gives the place special feeling- old Convent (you eat a delicious breakfast in an old chapel) but the owners really care and love what they do. Bolkow is a great central point to stay and see Karkonosze mountains, coming back to this peaceful place after a day of sites-seeing was great. I felt very much looked after and enjoyed every moment in Villa Elizabeth. When visiting again I would look no further then Villa Elizabeth for accommodation.

What a great place!

The hotel was decorated with Christmas souvenirs. In the evening the guests of the boarding house are waiting for tea, coffee and delicious cakes. We were the only guests of the boarding house that day, so breakfast was served individually.

A wonderful boarding house, home atmosphere.

The hotel is conveniently located if you are heading towards Carpathian. Cheap, good, clean rooms. Unprotected parking on the property. The hotel is stylish, very beautifully decorated for Christmas. Coffee, tea are available 24 hours a day in any number of dining rooms. The beds are convenient, you can rest from the road and sleep. The downside is that there is no restaurant in the hotel, you have to go to dinner at the cafe on the next street.
