Great place for contry retreat. Good quality/price ratio. Very comfortable beds and tasty home made food, especially breakfasts. Walking distance to the lake with private kayak / fishing spot. It all made perfect family long weekend. Nice owners and good service.

We found this place completely by accident - but we are so happy to have booked this spot for part or our vacation.

The 2 cottages are very modern and well appointed on the inside (air conditioning, flat TV, dish washer etc...) but very traditional and rustic from the outside. 

Each cottage is spilt into 4 apartments, each apartment has its own garden with BBQ etc, but at the same time there is a huge common area with a pool and games areas.

The staff couldn't be better - and they offer breakfast and dinner as an option, and run a small cafe during the day mainly with drinks.



Peacefulness...

We were at Szelagowka in a family of three and I have to admit these were just wonderful days! The apartement itself was very cozy, clean and comfortable. You can even find a laundry machine in there (very useful if you're on a longer trip with a baby!). The main room had those really big windows which made the interior look good, even in rainy weather. There's also a fireplace which makes things even better. The only detail which we could complain about was the lack of a hairdryer - really, that was the only thing!
They also offer breakfast and lunch/diner for additional fees. It is served in a tiny building in the back which also serves as an 'office' building for the staff. At first, I was reluctant to try it because I was sure it would be some kind of catering meal being delivered. Oh man, I was soooo wrong. It seems they cook that food themselves (but I'm not sure about that) and they're really good at this. Don't let the size of that building fool you and just pay extra for their meals - you won't be dissapointed!
There's also a small platform at the shore of a nearby lake - the staff will guide you how to get there and it's definitely worth seeing. You can just stay there, lay down and reaaaly get some rest in silence!

We had a very nice weekend at Apartamenty Szelagowka.
Very friendly & helpful staff, tasty food (you can serve breakfast and dinner local products), very cozy apartments with beautiful  design (equipped with everything you would need even in the kitchen). 
Each apartment has it's own garden with table, chairs, grill & hamac.
Activities: biking, horse riding, volleyball, swim (tiny but cute little pool), hiking, etc. 
We will definitely return 😊
