At first glance, it seems to be a cheap booking, but when we look closely, we have found that it is no longer possible to book everything in the bathroom or in the beds at the laundry room. The rooms have been well equipped, but the most important thing - the safe - is missing. The cleanliness is also desirable at the second glance. Although there was daily room service, but the rooms seem to be empty except for garbage cans and towels do nothing without changing them. We have found that both the bathroom and the beds at the laundry room have been completely untreated. The bathroom has been hardly opened for a long time and the laundry room has definitely not been closed. Everything in the hotel is also very expensive, except for the parking space (every day after lunch is 30 minutes or 40 minutes), so the breakfast room is worth the morning meal (2 minutes or so), and the towels have been unchanged.

Please do not book under any circumstances... for the money you can also find accommodation in Germany by the Baltic Sea

The Ikar Plaza is a large health centre and hotel with the same size of rooms for guests. There is a buffet three times a day with a large selection, but a little bit of meat and tea. You can still find something to eat as a vegetarian. You can get to the Ikar Plaza on a variety of very professional drivers, applications or water-gymnastics routes. You can go directly to the Ikarka Plaza by road from Eslista or by prescription, as well as from the Greek state-owned railway station.

Nice hotel with very good service

I came here with mixed feelings because I read a very bad review here. Our conclusion is completely different: the towels were changed several times a week. the food was rich, well-groomed and I always found something.The applications were good and there is also the possibility to book some on a private basis. It's just getting a little difficult with the appointments because the hotel is very well booked with guests.

A pleasant stay in the zoo

We liked the hotel very much. Generous rooms. neat and clean. Breakfast and dinner were always very nicely arranged and everything was delicious too. There was something for every taste. We felt very comfortable in the five days. It was also great that the bike rental was right by the hotel. For us the location was perfect.

Short vacation

I think the food was the worst part. We had breakfast and dinner buffet included with our 5-day package holiday. The coffee was instant coffee and had no taste. The bread tasted day old. There was no bacon or sausage or pancakes or waffles They did make omelettes but even they were tasteless. They served salads and lots of gelled things and no fresh fruit! Dinners were almost the same. Lots of gelled salads and cooked eggs smothered in a gross sauce. The hot items were so unappetising like liver or a meatball dish. If they served roast, it was always as a cold cut. Just boiled potatoes, never rice. Never any dessert. NO KID FRIENDLY food! To me, food is part of having a great vacation and so this we especially disappointing. They picked the cheapest foods they can find and tried to make them look elegant. The staff bordered on rude and were very unfriendly. They spoke no english. The system to get towels for the pool was especially irritating! Most of the time, no one was there to get a towel or if you needed a towel and someone was there and you politely ask for one, "READ the sign! It says you must come at 4:00!" Not a hint of kindness or understanding. So what were we to do? The pool, jacuzzi and sauna's were nice. The maids were the only nice people and they kept the rooms clean. The web page advertises a small play area behind the pool for children. We couldn't find it and asked the front desk, "Where is the out-door play area?" They looked at us like we were crazy and said that there was none. Later we found the web page and asked to see someone in charge. We showed it to someone in a back office and they just said, "Well, it will be built." We said, "Part of the reason we picked this place was for the children."  There were no "sorries" or apologies just excuses. During the massages, they play LOUD pop music! It was not a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. I got food poisoning one night and on our last day a whole group of senior citizens got food poisoning as well.  They told us, "Never again will we come here!"  I say the same, "Never again."

Disappointing.

First of all, the positive: good location, close to the beach, 7 minutes by car to the city. Food is abundant and with a large selection. Rooms are okay and clean. The facility is well maintained. Very nice the small park. The outdoor pool has been renovated for the season. Prices are okay. But>>>Too many (too many!!!) employees/minors don't seem to like their job - >> unfriendly, muffed and disinterested they come over.

Well, you know...

On arrival my wife was asked what treatments she would be taking. The staff were amazed when she replied none. Because this is, in fact, a sanatorium offering a variety of treatments with accomodation included.

First, the good points. The place is ideally located, close to the beach and with easy access to a footbridge over the railway line to access the old town. The rooms are modern and stylish, even if the bathroom was very small. The breakfast was quite adequate, tho' could do with a few more hot/warm options.

Meal times appear to be allocated - you are given the times between which (eg) breakfast should be taken. Our finishing time for breakfast was 09.40 but we were surprised to find ourselves surrounded by staff eating the same breakfast at the tables next to us at 09.30. Dinner is apparently only available between 17.00 and 19.15. We didn't try it.
Our room did not have a 'do not disturb' tag so we were woken at 08.40 by the cleaner wanting to get in. A kettle was provided but you have to bring your own coffee/tea/sugar/milk and, sadly, it was impossible to fill the kettle from the sink as the sink was too small to get the kettle under the tap. Whilst the room was clean, the general areas, which were quite old fashioned, were not cleaned regularly - a water bottle dumped next to a trash can was still there two days later. Also, the metal frame of the terracing outside the room was seriously weakened by rust.
The staff appear to know only Polish and German as the vast majority of the clientele during our stay appeared to be German, mostly >60 years old.
Adverts indicate that there is free wi-fi, which there is. But it is not available in the rooms and you must go down to the public reception area to access it. Not great if you have business obligations which require a degree of privacy. 
Finally, the hotel has a bar which it is stated is open until 22.00. We arrived in the bar one evening at 21.15 and were told, quite rudely, that the bar was closed, that the staff were cleaning up and if we wanted anything other than beer or vodka we should go elsewhere. We did.

This is NOT a hotel

Unfortunately, we didn't like this hotel. We didn't talk about wellness and relaxation. On the second day we changed the hotel. A nice spa hotel with a doctor on site and many applications for the older generation, but nothing for young people who want to go on vacation there. The service left to be wished, quick delivery at the counter, no instruction about anything. Bad food - canteen flair. It was loud, uncomfortable, the food wasn't appetitive. Simply kept without taste. NO quality! The clothes in the spa area smelled like urine and the shells were old, dirty and broken. His things couldn't and you didn't want to lock them in there, but the same thing we did.

Retired healthcare hotel with canteen flair - no further recommendation!!!!

The hotel is a good hotel with some flaws, hotel and rooms quite good. Beds are too soft for me, mattresses move very well, location very good. The beach is fine, unfortunately it was built nearby. Noise. Food is good to very good. Many children (holidays) dining room very loud dogs in the hotel are also very suitable for taste treatment. Since I have been having spinal problems for a long time, I can also assess it. It is mass processing for minimalism. So ultrasound treatments three times a week for 2-3 minutes are completely useless.

A good hotel with a few flaws where people rarely smile.

Overall, it's a pretty good hotel. Spacious rooms, good service, very good swimming pool, beach, good food, lots of extra offerings. But two problems need to be improved: the dining room is too crowded in the morning and evening and so clearly too noisy. Lunch only from 1pm to 3pm and dinner from 5pm to 7:30pm is too tight. Second credit concerns the rooms on the street side - we were in the high-floor, by the street traffic too loud. This also means that the dusk to the neighbouring dining room is not really good. All in all, it's loud! When booking, be sure to avoid street tickets and street tickets. For all families there are many offers, but there are plenty of offers, including play rooms, okkey, billiards, cinema, swimming pool, etc.
