Zulian Aparthotel by Artery Hotels

This hotel is excellently situated as it is within a short walk from the stunning old town. We were lucky enough to be given a room on the fourth floor (room 47) which unlike rooms on lower floors had air conditioning which had fans. There is no lift in this hotel so a difficult climb to our room after hot days exploring the very beautiful city of Krakow though our room (with a balcony) made it worth the climb. Our room was immaculately clean, large and a very pleasant one to be in. Bed was very comfortable and all staff were accommodating, pleasant and helpful. Check in needs to be done at a sister hotel though it was just a few doors up so wasn’t a problem. The only small criticism I have was the breakfast. Breakfast was nice though plates were not replenished anywhere near as quickly as they should have been (breakfast didn’t look very appetising when many plates were empty or half empty!) I liked that breakfast was served until 11:00 am allowing weary travellers a lie in. I would have preferred to have seen individual sachets of jam, butter and pots of yogurt etc rather than dishes containing them that were served up from the day before and the day before that. Scrambled eggs were inedible for two days of five of our stay which was disappointing. What breakfast food we did have though was mostly very nice. The garden is a lovely relaxing sanctuary for all guests and our room was lovely and quiet. All in all I cannot fault this hotel and their staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely, very comfortable hotel which has cafes, mini supermarkets and restaurants very near to it. Not far from the train station stop which travellers to Krakow can find directly opposite the airport exit (across the road after leaving the airport). Rooms have soap dispensers stuck to the wall though the hotel’s website advertises mini toiletries. While soap dispensers are more environmentally friendly I would have liked the mini toiletries the hotel advertises as I shamefully admit I like to collect them to take home : /
