Nice location, kind staff, good breakfast. The sheets were clean and so was the room.
We were a large group and no one had a complaint. We went there on december and the temperature was perfect in all the rooms. The only thing is that the WIFI on the first floor had a poor signal.

Perfect

This is the cheapest hostel that I've ever come across only 5 euro a night!!!! This means that you can stay the night for the price of a pint of beer in my native Ireland. The hostel is unreal value. 

The hostel is decent especially for the price. The rooms and showers are standard enough but clean. The cooking facilities are basic and there is no laundry facilities (however their is a launderette 2 minutes down the road). The girl on the desk was lovely. This isn't a party hostel unfortunately and there is no atmosphere. However that price right!!

The location is also great and is only 5 minutes from the Jewish district and 10 minutes from the city centre. The hostel also sells tickets for tours of the salt mine and Auschwitz.

Can't beat that price

This hostel was OK. 

It wasn't bad but it isn't the best. The rooms are clean but quite small and cramped - we were at the front of the building so had the noise of trams coming by through the night and people coming through reception. 

It's about a 15/20 minute walk from the train station, and was easy to find, it wasn't far from the local bars either.

The toilets were quite small and there are limited shower rooms - meaning we often had to wait a while to get a shower by which time the bathroom would be wet and semi-flooded. 



OK hostel - but not the best 

I didn't get to stay in this hostel because when I got there they told me "Sorry the hostel is closed so we will put you in another one" First of all I don't even understand what they meant by "closed" and also why they couldn't inform me about the issue before my arrival, not on the same day when I walked all the way from the train station the their place. This definitely does not say something good about their customer service or the place itself.

They cancelled my reservation when I arrived to the hostel saying that it was "closed"

The room and the bathroom were dirty, and the beds were very uncomfortable. The room was so cold, it had humidities and it had a strange smell every day. Also, the hostel staff was very impolite. I really don't recommend this hostel.
