Very good restaurant with lots of seats, nice toilets and friendly service, great outside garden, very good selection of alcohols, great soljanka, bravo.Free parking and verry nice design.Good place in Leknica.Polish and german kitchen.

Good restaurant 

The rooms are a lot cheaper than staying on the German side. Nothing extraordinary with the rooms but the hotel itself is close to the national park and the road. They offer free bicycles for the hotel guests so visiting the park and the nearby castle is only few minutes away. 

They have a restaurant by the entrance and they serve a very good liver dish. I’ve been to this restaurant three times already and I’ve been ordering the same thing all the time. The portion is average. The price is good. I also had a cucumber lemonade and it was very refreshing and surprisingly good.

They have lots of German customers, this just shows that the price here is cheaper. The only downside is that they don’t have an English menu. 


Average yet affordable rooms

A lot cheaper than staying on the German side of the river in Bad Muskau (certainly, a lot cheaper than the places in Bad Muskau available on the websites). Between the river and the hotel on both sides of Ul. 1 Maya is an ugly development of petrol stations and shops and stalls, and this hotel itself is part of the same building as a large petrol station. It is a brisk walk to get into the World Heritage park (but not unpleasant, as the walk does not take you through the ugly area) and if you are on foot you will probably be forced to eat in the hotel in the evening, because there seemed to be nowhere else to eat which was open on the Polish side, and you are a long walk from Bad Muskau on the German side. Breakfast was OK and the food in the evening was quite good. You may have major issues if (like me) you do not speak either Polish or German. When I arrived (having booked and paid in advance) I was given a room on the ground floor overlooking the petrol pumps, and had to get the help of an English speaking local to get moved. The second evening at dinner there was someone who spoke English, but the first evening I was almost driven mad by the staff who first spoke Polish and then (when I tried to speak German) spoke rapid German with no mercy for someone who can read German more easily than understand it spoken.

reasonable hotel, not a nice location

The restaurant:
No passion, small portions, no creativity at all. The duck tasted good but, 
my backed patatoes and french frites of my companion were louzy.
No vegatables as side dish.
The waitresses try hard but are not proffesional trained.
I was disappionted, have had so much beter experiences in Poland.
