It was really pleasant stay. Very comfortable hotel with perfect meal and kind staff, near the main square, nice walks around hotel and riverside. You can sit with your drink on your balcony or restaurant terrace and relax.

Pleasant stay

Very good food and beautiful location by the river. But the room was old (but clean). The staff friendly. The two biggest flaws were the the hot water in the shower only lasted for three minutes (which isn’t enough for a family). And the room was a bit on the chilly side at night.

Uneven in delivery

This hotel needs a lot of work if it is to warrant a 3 star review.

Firstly as most other review state  there is zero sound proofing in the rooms.  The noise from the bar downstairs can be heard all night through the weekend so dont plan on getting much sleep.  Also whoever came up with the idea of sticking a table football in the corridor outside these rooms needs sacking, the noise from that echo's throughout the corridor and is so annoying when you are trying to relax in your room.

The spa Bath which I paid extra for was a let down, the water was yellow and the jets didn't work. The water is also like warm at best.

I was warned about a wedding taking place on the Saturday which I was fine with, was not expecting the celebrations to carry in until 0500 on the Sunday morning though.

There are no tea or coffee facilities in the room, the fridge was empty and despite having  a restaurant inside the hotel there was no option for room service.

The room was also quite grubby, the bin in the bathroom was still full from the previous occupants, quite disgusting really.

My room was overlooking the main entrance, in the evening I tried to close the curtains only to find out they were too small and didn't actually fit.

The room was extremely warm also, no aircon or fans made it quite unbearable at times.

Overall this hotel needs to focus more on their customers, everything is there to make this hotel really nice but they are failing with the final touches.

Needs some improvements

Our double room was clean and quite spacious. It had all of the basic facilities. However, the bathroom was rather small and didn’t have enough space to keep make-up and toiletries. All of the rooms on our side had a joint balcony which may be an issue for more private people. The staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty and included some warm dishes as well. Since the hotel holds wedding receptions, it should invest more in soundproofing. It was rather loud so it is not recommendable for light sleepers during wedding season. The hotel is located next to restaurants and cafés. It is nice to walk along the river bank. All in all, it is a good hotel but definitely over-priced considering the size of the town it is in and average furnishings.

Good but over-priced for what it has to offer

Older building but friendly staff and nice view of the river. We were there in the off season so it is hard to tell if it was a typical number of people staying at the hotel. Rooms were small. The biggest problem was that there was no sound proofing so if someone was walking in the hallway it sounded like they were in the room. Breakfast was decent. Average hotel.

We had been warned that the area was open to tourism but we did not expect this bad surprise.The room was small, the bed was like a crib, no real summer, only a toilet towel, only a glass for the couple, the dinner served in very bad conditions, kept cold. No switch near the beds.

We stayed for three nights at the Hotel Nad Pisz, a cozy hotel, very friendly staff, an excellent kitchen, we enjoyed it extremely well, the price-performance ratio is sensational.

On the Tracks of the Past

The room was clean, spacious (European standards) and a great view!  Food was delicious.  Very close, walking distance, to several shops and restaurants.  Great staff, although, English was limited -  - you could get your needs known though.  Definitely would stay here again.  Spent 3 nights here, very conveniently located.  Internet in the main areas of the hotel was good - in the room - it was LIMITED.

Wonderful Experience

I only spent one night in this hotel. I arrived late at night without booking but since the facility is large enough I found a place without problems. The person at the reception was very courteous. The room is frostless but clean. Let's say essential. A large enough bathroom with shower. Breakfast is plentiful, with a wide choice of both sweet and salty. The hotel also has a nice terrace overlooking a canal. Also suitable for business events.

Clean and welcoming accommodation

As we could see on arrival, this hotel was in favour of foreign (German) cyclists, as something was not quite right for the fleeting eye of the presumed non-bike-loving guests, but this accommodation provided us with sufficient comfort to rest after the rainy rains of the day. Of course, it was better for us to stay in the uninhabited areas of the official reception area than to visit the spacious areas of the hotel, whereby a large garden and a large kitchen were also available, although the hotel was not well suited to the needs of our staff.
