I enjoyed my stay in the Hotel Meridian. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was nice, and the service was good and friendly. The location in the park was really nice, it's a very family oriented park with lots of people walking around, but there was no noise problems - just a happy, quiet little park. The wifi was not great in the rooms, but pretty strong in the lobby and in the restaurant. (The restaurant had some good food, as well.)

Two things to be aware of: though the rooms were non-smoking, there was a pretty strong smoke smell in the room, which meant that the window had to be open at all times. Secondly, I would really only recommend staying here if you like walking a lot or if you have a car. The bus/trams were running a little inconsistently, so it's about a 35-minute walk into town. The walk is very easy, but in the winter it might be a bit cold.

Good stay

This was my second time at Meridian. I was there for birthday party of my uncle.
Place is very nice with good food and service. I recommend for dinner or lunch. Location is good, next to restaurant small park and lake.

Birthday party

We're five minutes' drive from the hyper centre of a city of a million people and yet we're in the middle of nature, on the edge of a beautiful little lake, in a park that offers wild vegetation and a mature forest. The birds sing... The tone is set. The restaurant just changed hands six months ago. The level is maintained, with the added kindness. We ate on the terrace and in a relaxed way a great tomato pie followed by its wild (it's much less artificial pink lung!) with small vegetables and fries.

A beautiful institution in a unique setting

This hotel is in the middle of a park so is easy to go for a walk, is easy to get to "downtown"  by bus or tram, they had a parking lot also if you come with a car, the bedroom was ok fair for what you pay and the food was very good and the staff was friendly.

Quiet and good location.

It is located near the center of the city in a beautiful place on the shore of a pond. A little confused at the entrance due to one-sided streets and navigator failures. Quiet. Its own parking lot (behind the shlagbaum). Service personnel.

A nice hotel in a beautiful place.

We stumbled upon this hotel whilst enjoying the park.  A private event was taking place but the staff still found a table for us in a quiet area all on our own which was great with the children.  The decor was beautiful, it felt as if we were at a special function.  The food was really, really good and so was the service.

A delicious lunch in a lovely location

We stayed four nights last week - we are active oap's & walked daily to the town square 35mins taxi 15 zlotis (£3.) - Staff very helpful ordering a taxi etc. free wifi. beautiful setting on the edge of lake and park - very relaxing, lots of ducks etc. child play area, but watch out for bike riders.  

meals are excellent, (e.g. 200zlotis (£40) inc: 2 starters, 4 meals, 1 desert and 6 drinks) -  fantastic service, everything very clean and fresh. lovely atmosphere and smart restaurant area. 
Breakfast self service/buffet style: inc: scrambled eggs, sausage, cold meats, cheeses, fruits, cerials, bread, jams and yogurts, teas, coffees and fruit juice. 

Room cleaned daily & fresh towels. we were in superior room with blackout blinds. comfortable beds.

There are steps to the hotel and rooms, so not disabled friendly.

wonderful place.

The Meridian, which is the successor to the disastrous Piracki restaurant run by the catastrophic communist conglomerate Spolem, has stood out from its past and has been running for 20 years. More as a restaurant than as a hotel, it attracted the Bauman brothers (Alsace restaurants in Paris and Kammerzell House in Strasbourg) for 5 minutes.

Twenty years of faultless travel

Restaurant and Hotel Meridian is located in the most charming neighborhood of Posen. These properties are located in a very chic neighborhood (Solacz), in the middle of stylish park. The restaurant is very elegant. They serve both European and Polish cuisine. The food is very exquisite and delicious. The portions are not large, but they are decorated in an interesting way. In summer, guests can eat out on the terrace overlooking the pond. The atmosphere there is very romantic. You can leave children under the care of a nurse. For this, music is played on Sundays. Prices are not low, but it is worth it because the dishes are fantastic. The price is great! I recommend all lovers enjoy good service. The hotel is also very well known for its high standard of service.
