This family B&B is ok if you are not looking for a luxury...the rooms and the building itself is quite old and needs immediate renovation! The toilet is old and smelly unfortunately and I felt disgusted at times...very small rooms...no garden or anything around if you are looking for more activities around the place you stay...but the location is good and the staff is nice as well. The price is better than other places and probably because it is not comparable to a hotel or hostel with better rooms and outdoor space. This is not a hotel, but B&B so you cannot expect much, so if you are not fussy and looking for a place to stay overnight - it is ok, but nothing to be excited about...

Ok for overnight, but need an urgent attention regarding renovation!

A very friendly run family villa. Situated in the quiet area but near all the facilities. Monte Casino and a famous pier are app 750 meters away. Very good breakfast. Clean rooms. Very nice and friendly staff. Very highly recommended for everybody travelling on a budget to the beautiful town of Sopot. Sopot is very famous for the unique climate but not very well advertised. The unique air helps a lot, revitalise and make clean the body.

Villa Karat II Sopot

We stayed for four nights in a two room "suite", where the other room had a proper bed and the other one bed sofa. The location was nice with a short walk to the beach. Outside the hotel was a bit scruffy looking but the rooms were actually quit nice. The staff was generally very friendly. However, during our stay the room was not cleaned at once and e.g. no towels were changed.
The breakfast was OK with fresh rolls, however while we did not have to suffer from it, we noticed that in some mornings it took very long to refill the coffee cans serving all the guests and provide new rolls when they were finished.

A bit scruffy but OK hotel

I spent only one night at Willa Karat at Dec '13 but I can recommend this place. It's an old house with unique atmosphere. This is not luxury place but it's clean and cozy. It's located at the side street thus I slept very well. They also offer quite good breakfast with fresh bread.

Nice, cozy and cheap

I stayed with my girlfriend in this hotel from Friday 24th to Tuesday 28th May 2013. The hotel cost £80 between the two of us which is really cheap. When we arrived it was 10.30pm at night the hotel is down a side street and was difficuly to find as there is just a small sign. Once found the hotel is easy to keeping finding. 

I was unsure weather to stay in the hotel because there were no reviews on tripadvisor but im so glad I did!

the hotel is really nice from the outside and looks like a family home. The reception is really nice and welcoming. The staff were fantastic and looked after us.

The room was split into two. We had a lounge room with sofa, table, tv etc and then our bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe etc. Both room were big and nice. The bathroom was very nice with a shower cubicle. I have to say the room was really nicely furnished and immaculately clean. 

There is a communal kitchen area with free tea and coffee also.

The hotel is a nice ten minute stroll to Mante Casino street either along the beach or the street running parallel. Along the way there are some nice restaraunts, bars and shops.

I would 100% recommend this hotel. I have been Gdansk, Sopot and Gydinia 3 times staying in really posh hotels but this hotel made you feel at home and had a more personal touch. I will defiantly be staying here again.
