Positive the hotel to have 2 stars and put it well enough. the rest are all negative sides. the bed cushion looks like a garbage if you are on the second floor you will have a wifi that and like having a 56k of 50 years ago. 30/35 minutes to load a web page I download an app. indecent!!!! outside during the night you hear TIR trucks that keep the engine on all night I almost (I recommend barking in the room without dying of heat) the heating even if and off it throws hot still there is a way to open the window!!! for the rest at least the bathroom is nice and nice

The most flawed accommodation

The place looks very nice from outside and that made us stop for a meal there. The soup „żurek” and „kwaśnica” were even not similar in colour and taste to the one we expected. We didn’t finish the meal. The salads were not freshly made, not good in taste, worse than in a fast food. The cutlet was burnt and difficult to cut, the meat itself seemed to be not the good quality one. It’s a pity that due to owner’s dishonesty in running the business I had to not only lose the money I spent for the food but also ate bad food. Will never come back again and will recommend my friends not to eat there.

Never again

Great place to enjoy traditional Polish food. Huge portions and great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Place to visit. We haven’t stayed  in the hotel but we stopped for dinner. Please be aware that you will end overeating!!!

Good Polish cuisine 

No warm welcome & smiling face behind the reception desk, just "here are the keys, pay now, room upstairs." Staff hardly speaks any english. Nobody informed us you have to order at the bar counter to get some dinner/drinks so it took a while till we noticed we have to go there. Even though we were almost alone in the restaurant and they had nothing to do, service personnel did not even ask us if we need any help. Room was hot & with one window which does not open. Shower head was full of hair so we did not even use the shower. During our stay in the room the electricity key card in the wall slot was making strange and very loud noise. Bed was too small for two people, mattress too soft for us and with only one blanket. Walls are very thin so if you have a person next door you shouldn't expect to have much rest there.

2 start are more than enough

I've stayed here twice, everything was great, a great hotel, a big parking lot, clean rooms, air conditioning, wifi, everything worked, the restaurant was great, the food was good, some staff spoke Russian, I recommend.

Excellent hotel, well located, convenient and comfortable.

I was on a motorcycle trip through Europe, it was late in the day, my three friends and I were tired and we found this hotel. The accommodations were clean, room was fairly basic, water was hot in the shower bed was comfortable. Price was reasonable. Did not accept AmEx or Euros. East to pay with other major credit cards. Right off the main highway to Gdansk (about a 4.5 hr car ride, longer on a motorcycle.)

Nice Hotel

Semi self service (you order, pay and waitress brings food to the table).  Sometimes need to wait 20-25 mins but it's worth of it. Nice classic polish cousin, sensible prices. Good choice for on-the-go dinner.

Good Restaurant

From the outside, the restaurant looks interesting, traditional and promising. Unfortunately, the food is not special and the waiters are rude. It is not a great art to cook the potatoes and the ones in Stary Młyn were soft and tasteless:(

Unfortunately a disappointment

I was here with a large group. We ordered a dinner all of a sudden and it was prepared quickly and easily. The service was more than courteous and helped us beyond the normal. I can't rate the hotel, just the restaurant.

Quick and delicious

Stary Mlyn (Old Mill) is a solid guest house and offers both a place to stay and a place to eat. It is located directly on the highway between Kattowitz and the pilgrimage village of Częstochowa. Interesting is the very massive and rustic block building style. Below, on the ground floor, there is a large dining room, which primarily serves traditional Polish food. Unfortunately, our 2nd room was especially ready to be incredibly small. The small pool window could not be opened, which would have permanently disturbed because the highway is very loud.
