As a camping area it is great option - lots of places to put a tent, camper or caravan. All well prepared for even big caravans. Very green and clean space with playgrounds for kids and pools . Clean and big bathrooms, lots of electrical connections. All in reasonable prices . Just try to park far from the road leading to bridge as it is quite noisy also during the night .

Great camping option

We had a problem getting to this place.  The road we took into town was under construction just before our connection to the bridge which would have taken us directly to the the campground (would have been pretty straight forward).  Finally we managed to get across the river on the bridge we had passed earlier.  Thank God for GPS.  The signs to the campground were terrible and though we saw a sign for camping/hotel, there wasn’t a name (that we saw).  We drove past it.  Then before we would have crossed the river on the bridge we had been trying to get to (but couldn’t because of construction) we turned on a very narrow street  … turned out to be a walking path!  But it took us right to the hotel.  Sigh …

The room we had was in the main hotel.  Nice enough room size wise though … there were many school kids (teens) in the hotel – they were loud but their chaperones were on it and kept them quiet.  Also the beds were terrible, worn and a coil poked through and scratched/cut my traveling companion.  Also the sheets were too short for the bed and came untucked right away – not the greatest given how worn the mattress was with no mattress cover.  Also, we asked for a twin room and got a double bed with a baby crib.  Sigh …  The bed was small for two travelers who aren’t a couple. 

There was a nice shared deck.  Table and one chair in the room.  Big bathroom but almost no shelves, had to put stuff on the floor.  No bath mat or plug for the sink.  

Only one free electrical plug-in in the room.

Breakfast was very good, though as seems customary in Poland – instant coffee.  They offered cold cuts, cheeses, devilled eggs, various breads, jam and butter, hot scrambled eggs, sausage, cold veggies, milk and cereal, lemon water, instant coffee and tea.

Wouldn’t stay here again.

Too many problems to provide a higher score

Staff helpful and friendly. Facilities very clean and good. Lovely walk across the bridge to get to town. Lots to see. Stayed in the campsite. Wifi was good. Due to the hot weather, lots of mosquitoes but the first night we were there, they sprayed in the night and it helped.

Visited for 3 night mid June

The campsite is in a good condition. The sanitary facilities are good and clean. The spaces for campers are big enough. There is fresh water and a dump for grey water also. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is also a restaurant where you can order bread for breakfast. The prices are cheap (69 Zl for camper and 2 adults). It's about 20 minutes across the Vitula bridge into town on foot.

Good place for visiting the old town of Toruň(Thorn)

We had a very spacious room with a large bathroom.
Fast free wifi was included.
Room was clean.
Location:  near railway station
Affordable prices!

- poor breakfast compared to its price (20PLN) 

Spaceous and cheap accommodation

We chanced upon Torun and Camp Tramp and so glad we did. Campsite is pleasant and clean with friendly English speaking staff. Best part is the scenic short walk to the old town over the bridge. Highly recommend the whole experience!

Great location nice campsite

Although not designed for tents, I had the opportunity to stay at this place while on tour of the Baltic on motorbike. Not easy to find, the place is quiet, very clean and along the shore of a lake just outside Torun. The campsite is also the infrastructure of a rowing club. Very little to say about the facilities, basic but clean. A very cheap 16 zloty bill per night (4€) made the poor camper I am happy...
