Ustronie Morskie

A good location slightly away from the centre of town and close to the beach, the Hotel Grand Kapitan in Ostronie Morskie (now Henkenhagen) near Kolberg, Poland, is also very convenient. But the 4 star hotel is far from deserving of it in my opinion. The restaurant area is very close to the hotel's restaurant, and has youth hostel character, which often means that the dining room is one-of-a-kind and not particularly tasty (missing sauce and pfiff). The staff is always friendly and helpful, as soon as we are uninterested. And the restaurant is located right next to the hotel's restaurant's restaurant's restaurant, where we currently have a tasty tea (sweet tea, but with a tasty drink), a tasty breakfast (sweet tea, but with a tasty sauce), and a tasty breakfast in the hotel's kitchen. Rooms are good, food is okay, sauna, pool and swimming pool are not working and the man at the reception is the unfriendliness in person.

Nice hotel but poor service

The room is clean and furnished to suit all requirements, as well as the bathroom. The cleaning of the rooms and the towel was done on request only. The hotel is quiet and those who do not seek evening entertainment and love the tranquility are very well taken care of there. The swimming pool is very small and one must register for Corona, which also applied to the sauna. Since it was only opened at 18:00, the sauna time was limited to half an hour, which is completely insufficient. The reception is occupied by male staff, which is constantly unfriendly, which significantly reduces the overall impression. Otherwise, the stay in the hotel is a total waste.

Short leave from 25.10. to 1.11.2021

When we arrived, we were told that even though we had booked a room, there was no room available. The hotel simply booked us in another hotel. It was supposed to be on the same terms in a better hotel... because. The services we booked are not available at all in the replacement hotel. In the hotel we still met other guests who did the same thing. It would be better for everyone to take this hotel from all the offers. Such a bad rating can't be registered here as this hotel deserved it. I'd say at least -1.

Companions of our predecessor

Cheating from the finest. Hotel booked in January, 3 rooms, on arrival a cell phone is pressed in the hand, there was probably a booking error, they have to move to a 5 star hotel, which of course has only 3 stars) and then the crown at the hotel, but they are not always with us. Sorry people but that's not possible. I can only warn you about this hotel, then we have found more sufferers. Our German tour operators should definitely take this hotel off the program.

Fraud

I thought at 4 stars you can't do anything wrong at a hotel, so we booked this hotel. First impression from the outside super super with best location to the beach. Super clean rooms everything really neat. Nice staff (except the men). The food is the cheapest from cheap to weak spicy, little choice (I know other 4 stars differently ), no taste. Drinks are all in water, coffee, tea, cocoa, juice until 9:00 p.m. Other drinks beer or something similar for payment. Unfortunately, no one has to tell the waiter what you want to drink in the evening, but it's hard to find at the reception, so after more requests from the receptionist, you can only get the drinks right.

Eastern Bloc of Poland

As an absolute emergency nail at the end of the world for a two-night stay, I'm sure it's acceptable. For older people, I'm sure it's 65 and up. But for younger audiences, it's not really recommended. Food is the cheapest of the cheapest, hardly a choice. Staff is extremely unfriendly, quite annoying and repulsive. I hate having to spend the day here. Threats everywhere, obviously with high penalties if you lose your room card. There's no bar and the room is cruel.

Kolberg priceless inevitably landed here

In the ADAC newspaper we have seen the advertisement, it sounds very good. 7 days right on the Baltic Sea (the beach is only about 100 metres), half boarding and healthcare facilities including a massage for two persons plus baby under 450 euros (with their own arrival, the Polish construction sites are not for untrained drivers though): including sauna, swimming pool, whirlpool, etc. Since we were there in January, we had almost everything for ourselves. The food was good and varied, in the evenings besides the evil offerings and the typical dishes, freshly prepared seafood (herring and early schoolhouses are not for untrained drivers).

Great, affordable stay on the Baltic Sea with curative uses

The 2016 hotel is equipped with beautiful rooms, swimming pool and sauna with jacuzzi are good. In the restaurant, tables and chairs are usually very close together and the food is more than bourgeois, so it's simpler, but quite tasty.

We're not going to be able to beat the price-performance ratio.

Is the grand captain a spa or a children's hotel? That's not possible, swimming pool with screaming children and amused parents or grandparents, great and good recreation, so sauna is not to be used, unfortunately no restroom, but it's a pity not to change, otherwise rooms are nice and eat well.
