If you decided Władysławowo is where you gonna go "Wojciech" is a good choice. It's very kids friendly. Playroom and Lego room are brilliant and very well maintained. They also provide some animations for kids. Our daughter loved the Magic show.

Rooms are very modest and simple but big and spacious. No AC. The attic rooms get quite warm even when it's not hot outside.

They provide breakfast (buffet) and early dinner (4pm to 6pm) Dinner is two courses - soup and main. There is no choice here. Food is great quality and very tasty. Saying that if you don't like polish food you might be in trouble as there is no choice. Not everyone likes hot dogs for breakfast every morning. Good thing my daughter does. One day that was the only cooked option for breakfast. 

The whole place is spotless and extremely well maintained. There is parking onsite available for an extra charge. 

The big negative for us was Wojciech isn't wheelchair accessible or buggy friendly. So if you have a newborn or a small baby who sleeps in a buggy a lot etc it's a pain as you have to leave your buggy outside (they have a special room for it where all buggies can be stored for night time).

Beach is a walking distance but it's not close. And it's the most crowded beach I ever been to. That is the Władysławowo beach. In general the town isn't pretty. The town feels like a housing estate and doesn't have that beach resort feel that most polish sea resorts would have i.e. Hel, Sopot, Gdańsk. There is lots to do around though. 


Great spot in Władysławowo

Are you looking for place, where you could go with your family? Where not only your children, but also you, could take some rest and relaxation? Stop wasting your time, because you've just found one! Guesthouse "Wojciech" is the real Rivendell of the Pomerania region. Placed in Wladyslawowo, which is the gate to the Hel peninsula, "Wojciech" has everything for successful summer vacation. Guesthouse itself is located in the quiet part of the city, which is a really big advanatage, if we would like to just sit down and enjoy the free time. In case we want to hit the city or go to the beach, we need to take longer walk or in case of the worse weather take a car or bike. Believe me, distance from the sea is not the problem, as "Wojciech" have more to offer than just the sand and the sea waves. In the basement, there is a room, which will give your children unforgettable moments of fun and for you the time to sit down and relax. This phenomenal playroom is the key, that's make a difference, but be aware, that this is not the end. In addition to that, there are several attractions for your kids like: organized events in the playroom, magic carpet interactive game, kids cinema, family bingo game (you can win entrances to the attractive places in the nearby) or bouncy in front of the building. This is all for your children and it's free off charge. Yes, of course, "Wojciech" doesn't forget about the parents. Near the playroom, there are the doors, to another rooms, but this time for the bigger children. For your disposal are: saunas (infrared and traditional), sun bath lamps, room with massagers (special chairs or traditional wooden tools). All of those attractions are additionally paid and need to be reserved in advance, but you get it only for yourself, for 1 hour. Trust me, it's really worth to try! What about the general standard? Rooms are cousy and quite big, as for the guesthouse. There are all needed furnitures like wardrobe, some smaller cabinets and even dressing table with the mirror. Bed is big and comfortable. Bathroom is rather large with the shower cubicle. There is cable TV and WiFi internet access available. If you want to enjoy beer and the fresh air, you can use nice balcony or go to the bigger patio near the canteen. Ah yes, food. "Wojciech" offers two meals. One is breakfast, which have a form of buffet, where you can choose your favorite dishes, drinks etc. Second is the late lunch/dinner, which is consisting of two dishes (soup and the main course). Well, it's hard to describe the taste. You need to try it by yourself and you will never think to eat somewhere else. If you want to make some food on your own, you have small kitchen annexe with cups, plates, cutlery and microwave oven available in the corridor. Additionally you can use common fridge. Please be aware, that in general, cooking is not possible and handheld heaters are not allowed to be used in the building. Another nice add-on in "Wojciech" is, that you can buy there a beer or very good coffee. There is plenty of attraction in the Wladyslawowo and in the surrounding area. Don't worry, you don't need spending hours in the internet. Just ask the personnel and you will get few paper guides and a bunch of practical hints what, when and where. Summarizing, I spent with my family one of the best summer vacations ever and this is mostly "Wojciech" contribution. Great fun, personnel and food is something, that will definitely bring us back to "Wojciech" again. I recommend this place with all my heart.

Pomerania Rivendell

This pension is very child-friendly with a great play room, and our bedroom was okay too. However, I found the timetable of the pension weird. Our price included breakfast and 'dinner', but the time for the 'dinner' was between 4pm and 5pm. This may be how Polish people may have their 'supper', I don't know, but for us, dinner between 4 and 5 pm was not at all ideal. We had to rush home from wherever we are to make it before 5pm, and the restaurant staff was not looking happy when we entered the restaurant 10 minutes before 5pm. The soups were often cold, probably because they didn't bother heating them up again for the last-minute diners. Our almost 2 year-old daughter was not at all hungry at 5pm, and it was difficult to arrange her food afterwards for 6pm. Once we skipped the 'dinner' because we had nice big lunch in Jurata. Shockingly, my husband who speaks Polish said the lady who manages the pension got upset because we didn't eat their food. She apparently said 'why do you miss our food? our food is so good'. That made us notice that there was no other guests of the pension who skip the 'dinner'. I must say that the food was really good, especially soups (when they were hot). The problem was just the timetable.

Great place for families but with some reservations

You cannot complain about the number of accomodation possibilities in Wladyslawowo. Pensjonat Wojciech beats them all by the size of the rooms: they are large and comfortable. Nice food serverd in the restaurant - liked the specialties of the local cuisine - especially fish. The staff speaks fluent English and is very helpful even in non standard request.

First of all - large rooms

First of all...its Hel...the nummer one tourists destination in Poland, so during the season its crowded. Secondly not much people speak english, so to find the owner, Wojtek, speak fluently english was a fantastic thing. He has travelled all around the world, mexico, Alaska and the caribean, and is much into internet so the wifi is both free and fast. He was onxe in the tourist marketibg buissness so he knows everything about this place and the Sopot, Gdynia Gdansk area.  Its mainly à family oriented place, but anyone can of course enjoy it. The rooms are Fantastic! The beds also! You get a luxury standard for a cheap prize. Its 15 minutes walk from te beach but they have bikes for free. We can highly recommend this place to anyone!
