Academus - Cafe/Pub & Guest House

My twin brother Stephen and I were pub hopping around this part of the Old Town of Wrocław when we decided to drop into Academus Cafe Pub, been here before on previous holidays to Wrocław, always had a good time and so it proved on our latest visit. I love the look of this pub, interior is superb, a narrow room,a cool looking serving bar, great decor and furnishings and despite its relatively small size there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its a great pub to unwind in. We were here on a Thursday night, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we had a study of their beer range which I must say I was impressed with and in the end my brother opted to have Lindemans Kriek cherry beer while I went for De Block Brewery " Satan " and both these great Belgium bottled beers were served in excellent condition, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub while we sipped our beers. My beer was really good ,a strong Belgium ale bursting with taste, at 8% ABV its certainly not a beer to rush but to savour but being in such a lovely pub enjoying a quality brew why would you want to rush anything. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Academus Pub is easy to locate along Kielbasnicza. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, open from 3pm. Saturday & Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.
