Despite what it says on here and on Booking.com, there is no Wi-Fi. Had l realised this l would not have stayed as it makes things very difficult as l have no guidebook and my iPhone only has so many minutes. 
Despite that the hostel is central, but no atmosphere - a steel door and no interaction with other guests, other than the shared toilet, shower and small sink and small kitchen outside the bedrooms. 
The rooms are OK but duvets are thin, so lm using the spare duvet in the twin room. I have turned the heating down as l hate stuffy rooms. 
Beware that the main taxi cab rank if Wraklov seems to be outside the hostel, so it is quite noisy throughout the night as cab drivers chat and drop off clients. A pair of earplugs would help for a decent night’s sleep. 
The shower is basic, so you have to hold it with one hand which is awkward, also no plug in the sink - beware! 

It would not take much to sort these shortfalls, especially Wi-Fi - who doesn’t have free Wi-Fi these days? 😩

Disappointing and NO Wi-Fi

Last July 2019 I booked a room in Hostel Cinema for me and two friends to spend two nights there. At first sight, the room wasn´t very clean but we didn´t suspect anything.

After the first night one friend and me got up full up of bites. At first we thought they could have been mosquitos but along the day bites continued coming up and they icthed more and more. In my case, I had an allergic reaction and we had to go urgently to a pharmacy.

By the time we came back to the hostel, reception was closed (22:30). So, we checked the room by our own and we found a lot of bed bugs under our beds (see the attached photos).  

We tried to contact to the emergency number that appeared at reception´s door but nobody called us back.Then we explained them the situation by message and we also sent some photos but they never answered. Due to the anti-higienic conditions we had to search and move to another hotel in the middle of the night (23:00).

Hostel Cinema´s management of this situation has been REGRETTABLE: they did not answer that night, they did not take responsibility of the situation in order to offer us another room that night, they have never apologized for all the nuisances we sufferd and what is worse, they have never confirmed if the room is now free of bed bugs.

BE CAREFULL BED BUGS IN ROOM 21

We have taken apartment which is not in the hostel building. You need to collect a key 5 minutes walk from apartment. It is a small problem. They could at least let the guests to leave a key in post box and not come back to return key again. Apartment had everything we needed besides towels. That was really strange they didn't provide us with. Location is great 5 minutes from Old Market Square. There is public parking besides building.

Everything was okey, we found it at the very last moment, so we paid a little more than expected. The room was clean, so were the common places. Small but nice kitchen and bathroom. It's really close to the city centre.

Overpriced, but nice place.

My stay in a twin room at Hostel Cinema was only 120 zl. It was also quite easy to find; it's on the doorstep of the Rynek tram station (photograph attached). Check-in went fine (in English) and the room, as well as the shared bathroom, was clean. I received a complimentary towel. Wi-Fi was free, and I was told that coffee and tea (which I didn't drink) was free, too.

That is where my compliments stop, though. The kitchenette that every floor shares was dirty. The lack of air-conditioning turned the room into a sweltering oven. Because the hostel is on one of Wroclaw's busiest streets (and so close to a tram station), opening a window meant it was also a very, very noisy night; I basically couldn't sleep. The shared bathroom was clean, but during my shower I realised that the drain was blocked and the water started pushing up; it was gross . . .

It's safe to say I won't be returning.

Hot, noisy

Hostel is located 5 minutes by walk from centre of old town so you have easy access to main attractions in old town. A front of the hostel is located tram stop which provides easy transport if you would like to go out of the old town. With tram there's very easy access to Main Train Station, SkyTower (Around 5 minutes), ZOO and Hala Stulecia (Around 20 minutes).

In kitchen you can find free tea and coffee, there's also a small fridge in corridor where you can put your food without any problem. Wi-Fi works very good.

Everything what you need

We stayed here for 2 nights in June 2015 with my girlfriend. The night were pretty noisy as there were youngsters  acting pretty loud. The location is perfect, the old towns main square is in less than 5 minutes walking distance away.

Noisy youth hostel, but close to old town

a small room resembling a 14 year old girls bedroom is what you get, but the main issue is the noise from around and about the hostel. so noisy you will have real issues sleeping. there are bars and clubs at the rear and a big road at the front.

Its cluttered throughout and has no atmosphere. no communal space and very un-interactive staff.

Bathrooms are ok, but only one per floor and hada habit of smelling come end of play.
there must be better than this in Wroclaw

skip this palce and search for something better.
