What a beautiful, historic building. We stopped after a long journey from Slovakia.
Our room was beautiful and overlooked the garden. 
Lovely chairs to sit on in bedroom, a tv and bottled spring water.
There were nooks and crannies everywhere to explore in the Hotel. A beautiful sitting area on the first landing.
We explored the garden and the summer house before returning for drinks on the terrace.This was our only negative, people already there had drinks or a meal yet noone came to see what we wanted. My husband went to see and was told by 2 women he would have to wait 5 mins. These ladies were not waiting staff.
When the waitress arrived she was very polite, took our order and when it was time to eat she gave us the option of the dining room or the terrace. As it was a lovely, warm evening we chose the terrace. 
Hubby had the cheese and meat cold platter starter, which could have been a sharing platter. I opted for the salmon parcel. It was delicious. Poached sallmon with spinach in a filo handbag. Presentation was exceptional.
The mains were delicious too. We had a schnitzel and chicken wrapped in bacon, both served with seasonal vegetables.
Breakfast was self service with a selection of hot and cold food. 
The dining room was amazing. 
When, if you visit you must read the history of the house as it is fascinating.

Hotel with History

Beautiful old estate house in a sleepily little town. Not sure one would specifically go there as a main tourist destination but if you wanted to break up the drive between Berlin and Wroclaw ( or Kracow) a perfect location. Very helpful and friendly staff, great old home renovated into a nice small hotel with lovely grounds and very reasonable room rates. As it was a stop off on our way through Poland we included the breakfast and dinner. Although not gourmet( or very expensive )both were very good and filling. Selection of wine not great but hotel had no problem if you bring your own.

Great stop off place between Berlin and Wroclaw or Kracow

Stopped there one night , booked for our return trip , they had sold our room on . We had travelled  a long way , and had to find another hotel , we wont ever stay there again ! The weather was cold and we were very tired , and the hotel people were less than helpful

Failed

The Hotel is near to a main road to Germany, It's curious, especially if you like mysterious hotels.

The Hotel smells to chimney smoke, It has no elevator. The breakfast is poor. Towels are like a sandpaper.

Nice hotelroom, tho be sure to bring your own pillow as I didn't like the one that was provided by the hotel. The bathroom is nice, has a bath, but nothing special. I love the whole baroque feeling about this hotel.
