We absolutely loved this guest house (05.08.20-08.08.20). It is cute, quaint and well-equipped. The perfect place for a tranquil get away. The view from our balcony was stunning. The breakfast was very nice and good assortment. Rooms are clean and cosy. The host lady was extremely kind and welcoming, despite the language barrier. We used google translate conversation and she helped us in any way she could and was always smiling. We will definitely be back, can't recommend this place enough!

Bardzo nam się podobał ten pensjonat (05.08.20-08.08.20). Jest ładny, osobliwy i dobrze wyposażony. Idealne miejsce na spokojny wypoczynek. Widok z naszego balkonu był oszałamiający. Śniadanie było bardzo miłe i dobry asortyment. Pokoje czyste i przytulne. Pani gospodarz, pomimo bariery językowej, była niezwykle miła i serdeczna. Korzystaliśmy z konwersacji tłumacza Google, a ona pomogła nam w każdy możliwy sposób. Na pewno wrócimy, nie mogę wystarczająco polecić tego miejsca!

Beautiful guest house /wspaniała pani gospodarz

We found this little hotel on Booking.com, and it turned out to be a real gem. Even so, we was a little in doubt when we showed up and found that the owners only speak Polish. Not a word of English! But it turned out to be a minor problem.

It is located a few minutes drive outside of the centre of Zakopane, and our sat-nav was to good help finding it. When you wake up after a quiet and good nights sleep you find some wonderful views over beautiful farmlands and impressing distant mountains. You then enjoy a superb breakfast, homecooked and with many choices. For a meatlover as me was it like coming to heaven, such an amazingly good start on a days exploring. 

The room was big, the bathroom had all it needs, including a good shower. We had also access to a small kitchen to provide for our selves if we wanted to. There are also a good size parking inside a locked gate. 

Zakopane is just a short drive, or a long walk, away with all its offers in restaurants, shops, museums and so on. But there is a hotel, Hotel Tatra, only a few hundre meters away for restaurants and bars, there is a local shop a little further on the same road and a church about the same distance. The views are everywhere!

We came a wednesday, and stayed till Saturday. As I said was none of the owners English speaking, but they were still the friendliest and most welcoming couple I have met for many years! And I think we understood almost all they tried to tell us. The only problem about being unable to speak to them was the lack of a local informer. 

On saturday was there a young girl serving breakfast, and she spoke English better than us. All in all is the lack of English speaking hosts a little problem, but a problem small enough to forget when we think of the value we got for a tiny prize. It was unbelievingly cheap, with the value of a really good hotel!
