A wonderful place to come back to after a long day hiking with the very handy ( and good) restaurant downstairs which serves wonderful breakfasts too. Comfortable room, quiet in the evening and a great place from which to hit the mountains early in the day before tourists staying in Zakopane itself arrive. Fifty metres away from the cable car. Alternatively walk to the top of Kasprowy Wierch and catch the cable car down. Remember to let them know if you want room cleaned on a daily basis when you book your room. Will stay again,

Great stay in the mountains

Many hiking trails starts at your doorsteps, bus stop just outside if you wish to go to Zakopane or Palenica, Cable car to Kasprowy just outside.
On top of that very friendly staff, decent breakfasts, very clean and specious rooms, delicious food in resteurant downstairs (grilled chicken breast highly recommended). It usually is rather busy during the day but gets very quiet during the night - since nearby roads are off-limit for traffic.
Highly recommended for anyone who needs a place to rest after hiking on these amazing Tatra mountains.

Amazing location

Very good hotel location - all hiking trails are at your door! It is very comfortable to get up early and go up to the Kasperovy Verh by cable car  becouse there are not queues in early mornings. Very tasty food at restourant here (especialy grilled trout and pyrogi) (there is english menu, just ask for it). We had breakfast included too. Daytime is very active here, but at nights it was very quiet. Room was very nice and good, beds comfortable and you can hear  mountain river murmur through the window. Liked this hotel very much!!!

Three wonderful days and nights

We've booked into this place due to its convenient location, right at the foot of one of the highest peaks in Poland, and just next door to Kasprowy Wierch cable car. Confusing arrangements for access, as all roads leading to this place are closed for motorised traffic, with no exceptions for hotel guests, but we were told to ignore that, and just drive to their own car park, which is kind of separated from large car park designated for all mini buses of public transport. We got room on the top floor, no lift. Very nice and spacious room. Reception 24/7, which was important to us, as we arrived very late. Breakfast downstairs, in open for public restaurant. Some staff quite rude demanding we leave our backpacks somewhere else, as we're not allowed to walk into dinning room with them - there should be a notice at the door about it, and that would save us a trouble and the staff would be nicer to their guests.  The area around the hotel could be extremely busy during the day, as it is a major tourist spot in Zakopane, a starting point for many mountain hikes, but it gets quiet in the night, so we didn't hear any noises in our room.

In the heart of Tatra

It is easy to locate. When returning from Kasprowy Cable Car or from mountain hiking before you jump in a Taxi to center - it is a good stop for really good coffee. We haven't tried the hotel but a coffee break is worth a while.

After mountain hike - good coffee!

Very nice place to stay. Comfortable beds, very welcoming staff. There is also hotel's restaurant with delicious traditional Polish food. Must to try is a warm beer with shot of cherry vodka yummy &strong - exactly what you need for winter evening in Zakopane.
