There‘s no place I‘d rather be. I have been here for 8 times, staying in Living Lodge ❤️🤙 This is one of the best surf points I have ever seen. Super spot for beginners and pros. In the morning you will have a great view in the back of the lodge and you can check the waves. After a great surf day you will relax in the garden and watch the sunset. The rooms are bright and well equipped. Huge selection of boards and nice people around. Go for it!

Staff are really helpful & the recommended surf classes are top notch & in nearby Monte Clerigo.
Plenty of showers, surfboards & wetsuits available
Self catering accommodation is outdoors & under cover l& rooms are good.
I would definitely recommend it.

Great hostel in a lovely location

Super cool surf lodge with an amazing vibe. You can cook yourself a meal in th outdoor kitchen or eat out in a nearby restaurant. The surfboard rental is 15€ a day and the amazing arrifana beach just a 10‘ walk down the steep road. 
The lodge offers a very nice lounge area around the pool and u can walk 200 meters out of the lodge and then you‘ll see a bench where you can enjoy the sunset.

Cool vibe and nice staff

The hosts were very accommodating and tolerant considering there were 20+ of us. The outdoor kitchen and living areas are perfect for entertaining. The beach was a short (reasonably difficult however we all managed even after a few drinks) walk from the house. This beach was amazing and worth the walk definitely. I would definitely recommend the Living Lodge to anyone visiting Arrifana Beach especially large groups of friends or family.

Great accommodation for large groups

Thank you! This accommodation was perfect for our large group of friends, lovely place and comfortable even with lots of people. Although this was not mentioned in the add - the house has staff who live on site, they were very welcoming and helped to arrange fishing trips, hikes, Yoga on the rooftop and live music. We had such a lovely time, I highly recommend and would return if we visit Portugal again.

Perfect for large group

It's already the third time that i visit Colins place. The atmosphere there is lovely and I will definetly come back, but not as a guest. Next time I will come  as a friend ;) so lets surf together soon!

Like a second home

Thank you Living Lodge ! I stayed with you for five days and I spent an amazing time surfing and meeting nice people ! The accomodation is very comfortable, people are welcoming and the volunteers very helpful and funny ! The region is beautiful, surfing conditions are topmuch and the location nice (5 mn to the beach). See you sooooon !

Perfect staaaaay !

This was our second visit to Colin and Maggie's place. They were very hospitable and welcoming. The living lodge is situated above the beach with a great view over the ocean. We enjoyed the outdoor kitchen and shower, and the clean rooms. It's a great place to surf, do yoga or just relax.
