Quinta dos Junqueiros

A nice little hotel located in the small village of Azoia. We were 2 couples so rented the 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottage for 11 nights. The unit is fairly well appointed, and clean with comfortable beds. The owner and staff are vey friendly and helpful. The unit provides a great view to the west. The kitchen is generally well supplied, however the coffee pot needs to be updated and more sharp knives would be nice as we were doing some of our own cooking. The web sites says there is TV but in fact there is no cable/satellite service available. In the village there is no store to purchase food supplies and there is no laundry service. Given our length of stay it would have been nice for some type of laundry service to be provided, or provide a washing machine in the unit or complex. All in all a very nice location to send an extended stay and use as a central staging point to visit the many attractions in the area. Within walking distance of the hotel is a very good restaurant the Refugio Da Roca. Would stay again.
