We staid for teori nights in Nice roomservice, small but fully equipped bathrooms. Our view was into a backyard, but our friends had a tiny balcony with view down a narrow passage, very typic for the historic part of Chaves. Kind service and cleaning every Day. 

Nice stay 

We had the pleasure to stay at this establishment and were truly surprised at what we found.
The rooms were excellent clean and very comfortable .The bathroom was absouutely beautiful you could not have wished for better.And the the dining room/restaurant was Excellent.The only thing wrong was there was no lift [but a little excercise did not kill anyone].

Nice and comfortable.

A very nice, smartly presented small hotel. It's position at the very top of the old town makes it easy to walk through the old streets down to the river and to the shops in the modern centre. The rooms are well equipped and decorated. The breakfast was very pleasant but not exceptional. However there is no lift and parking on the square, twenty metres  from the door is pay per hour from 8 to 20 hours. Free parking is 300 metres away with a steep climb up after leaving the car park. The staff were helpful but spoke no English so we resorted to broken Spanish and mime.

Extremely good value but parking? At a distance...

We did a reservation by email but when arrived at the Residencial Bem Estar they told us that our room has been occupied by other costumers, so we had to go looking for another place where to spend the night.  Supposedly, some guest has booked one room for two people but three guests appeared, so they gave our room to this person in addition.
