INn Murus is clean, efficient, and well located.  Our room (11) had a balcony that looked out over rooftops and had very nice light.  the facility was much nicer than we expected for the modest cost.

The woman at the front desk was very helpful.  We ate at each of her four restaurant recommendations and they were each good.

Very Nice Experience

This was such a pleasant surprise.  We were not expecting such superior comfort and amenities.  There has been great attention to detail - from the mattress quality to the linens. The heater warmed the room up quickly.  
We arrived on bicycle and were given a safe place to store our bikes. The host is extremely gracious and considerate.
There is a kitchen! We had been eating out most of our vacation and it was such a treat to be able to prepare our own breakfast in a clean setting with all cooking utensils
handy.  
The whole place is spotless and beautifully renovated.  The bathroom is modern and the shower was our favourite so far!  
The location is fabulous- within the city walls and very close to the cathedral.
Our only regret was not being able to stay longer.

Best Place, Ever in Evora

Other than being a bit hard to find with a car, INn Murus was perfect in every way.  The car problem was not insurmountable, as we parked and walked there.  The owner was then kind enough to take us to our car and lead us to the parking convenient to the facility.  This is the epitome of service!  Our room was huge and nicely decorated with a immaculate large bathroom with an amazing spa shower.  It was very quiet.  We also had a lovely little terrace with a table and chairs where we enjoyed breakfast with coffee from a nearby bakery.  They have no lift, but were willing to help us carry the luggage.  The hotel is within walking distance of the entire old town area and many fine restaurants.  I know there must be many nice hotels in this historic area, but we could not have been happier with our choice.  I just wish we could have stayed longer.

Excellent stay in old town Evora

We spent six nights in INn Murus and absolutely loved it. We'd an ensuite room with a great little balcony which was excellent value for money. It was a joy to sleep in our spacious room in the most comfortable bed we've had during our travels in Portugal. The young couple who run the INn are fabulous hosts and have done a wonderful job creating a friendly, informal yet elegant, environment. Staying in a restored 16th century manor house is the perfect way to enjoy the delights of Evora, which is beautiful with a great 'feel' to it - just like INn Murus. The INn's location is perfect for exploring all the delights of Évora and its spacious indoor and outdoor communal areas are lovely to relax in after a day's sight-seeing. Thank you Bruna, João and all the staff who do such a great job of keeping the INn spotlessly clean and making it such a lovely place to stay. We will definitely return!

Fabulous, atmospheric, and centrally located place to stay in Évora

This hotel is the best place to stay in Evora. It is located in the center of the historic city. The room was really nice, beautiful and clean. The welcoming of the staff was perfect. They gave us recommandations for typical restaurant. We had breakfast there for 4 euros and it was good and fresh. I really recommend it and will return to this hotel if I come back to Evora.

Best place to stay in Evora

This pretty guesthouse inside the city walls of Évora and close to the cathedral is very beautiful and is located in a quiet little street. There’s no free parking inside the city walls but free parking just outside the city walls isn’t far away. We parked our car in the Avenida Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian underneath the trees, the ideal spot in summer.
Our room was spacious and very clean. The shower was excellent too. This must have been one of the best mattresses I slept on during more than a decade of travelling through Portugal. The lady that welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. 
Therefore it’s a shame that I’ve got to mention two negative points. The table and chairs on our small balcony were covered with a lot of pigeon droppings. We cleaned it ourselves. 
My second point of criticism is the fact that you can’t darken the room completely, despite of the big wooden shutters. The room is filled with sunlight early in the morning and I can’t sleep anymore. This is something that might not bother you but it annoys me a lot.
