Okay not sure where to start about the brilliant Encosta da Praia Luxury suites I don’t want to sound that I am gabbling on.. I cannot just describe this place with 5 stars as if there was a higher rating I could put that would be the case.. On our latest Portuguese tour this final stop is exceptional. The communication before we arrived was perfect and all parties knew what was to be .. on arrival we were met by the lovely Isabel who showed us to our accommodation which was a lovely room with a balcony and amazing sea view . I would love to bottle the sound of the Atlantic Ocean and take it home with me . Breakfast arrived outside our door with lovely fresh bread and freshly squeezed orange to the wonderful home made cakes, what a welcome start to the day. To the fabulous honesty pool bar stocked with the best available liqueurs spirits you can find, to the welcome site of the pool where a welcome dip is in order after a hot day in the Algarve sunshine ☀️ The Encosta suites are one not to be missed and I promise on my next Portuguese stop I will most definitely be back .. Thank you Isabel and team for the most memorable of stays on this beautiful coastline x

One not to be missed

Beautiful setting, amazing room with huge balcony. Lovely owners. We could walk down to the beach or to the waterfront area where restaurants served fresh catch of the day grilled outside. A great alternative to the busy towns and large hotels nearby. 

Amazing find!

An amazing guesthouse where the host couple and staff make everyone feel at home. GREAT breakfasts, prepared with a personal touch and attention to detail - and served with an amazing view.😀👍 - And just help yourself to coffee and homebaked cake every day (no charge) - and there’s softdrinks and wine in the fridge (just note down, pay at check-out) - like the ‘honest bottle shop’. - We’ll be back - and be sure to stay longer...

Next time we’ll stay for 1-2 weeks

The hosts were extremely welcoming and made us feel right at home from day 1. We spent 5 nights and if we were in the area again would not hesitate to stay there. The pool area is quiet and we made good use of it with a bottle of wine from the honesty bar.
The rooms are spacious and well laid out.
