Lovely site with well spaced flat pitches , electric, water and waste 
Toilets and showers were immaculately clean
Reception staff friendly and helpful
Close to restaurants cafes and bars , bakery and supermarket within walking distance

The campsite is located on the edge of the small town of Golega, minutes walk from small cafe/bars, restaurants and a well stocked supermarket. The lady on reception was efficient and friendlyCampsite is mainly grassed hardstandings and areas are allocated for campervan,  caravans and tents.Electricity and waste station are available. Separate bins are provided for variable waste and are cleaned daily. Toilet block has separate facilities for ladies, gents and disabled and kept spotlessly clean.Lots of toilets and showers, modern and clean. The overall cost for the campervan, two people and a dog was 12 euros for 2 nights!! Word of warning if bringing an animal, you will need its vaccination certificates. Fast free wifi available with excellent connection over the whole camp area.


Peace & Tranquility

This is one of these campsites where you pull up at reception and instinctively know that it's going to be nice. Situated on the edge of the small town of Golega, minutes walk from small cafe/bars, restaurants and a well stocked supermarket. Efficient and pleasant lady at reception. Campsite is compact and grounds are immaculate. Proper segregation bins provided which are lined so no smelly bins here. I was camping so delighted to find the tent area a stretch of green grass you would be proud to have on your lawn. Toilet block has separate facilities for ladies / gents and is without doubt the nicest campsite facilities I have come across. Plenty toilets and showers, modern and spotlessly clean. To top it all this cost me less than six Euros for me, motorbike and tent, cheapest I have paid in the whole of France, Spain and Portugal. Fast free wifi available, excellent connection from tent area. First class.

Camping Dec 2016

This small municipal campsite on the edge of Golega is well worth a visit. The pitches are well laid out (for vans, caravans and tents), green and very well shaded. It's beautifully maintained with a small dip pool, BBQ area and excellent bathrooms, which are always spotless.  

Golega is a very pretty town, best known for its annual horse show in November, so there is evidence of the importance of horses everywhere.
