closed...seriously...closed  not open anymore...like so many budget hotels and poiusadas in this neighborhood, it's now closed....why the site is still up is a mystery to me..it was, when open a simple but pleasant place with character..now it'll become yet another boutique hotel

CLOSED...DON'T CALL.!!

We choose it from Booking.com mostly because of location and parking availability( as stated ). Actually you have to find parking yourself and it is not easy in this area. Next day our car was blocked by other cars and i had to burn some clutch to get the car out. (Parking was on slope).Room was very simple, Bathroom was minimalistic.

Not for people with high demands.

Everything is just old and shebby. Smells not  good. Very Cheap but that's it. The toilet is in a extra "room" in front of the window. The shower is built in later middle in the room. It's so small that you even can't open the room door complete because the bed stands there.  We changed to a hotel. Just felt claustrophobic. 

Very Small Room

We stayed here for two nights in september 2016 and the area is good to stay, but the hotel is pretty old. We had a shower and sink in our room, but needed to go to a separate toilet. It is cheap and you get that you pay for.  I did like the typical charm of the building with all the ceramic.

Average, but great area

This hotel is in a great location of Lisbon 
Close to many tourist sights and just a couple of blocks to the metro stop Avenida and also about 10 mins walk to the train station for Sintra. 
The price is cheap and we got a very clean and nice sized double bed room. There is no lift so don't bring lots of heavy luggage because it's a haul! 
The hotel is in an older building so our bathroom had a floor drain that really had a strong odor of sewer. We kept the bath window open and door shut so that was fine. Not much the hotel can do about this because I think it's just due to the age of the building. Like I said the room was very clean and bed comfy enough. 
The lady at the front desk was very nice as was the man who took over. So nice when staff is kind to travelers! The girls who clean the rooms are hard workers--thanks to them for sure! 
Good location good price!
