The staff at this hotel is just amazing. Patricia & Manuel greeted us when we arrived & had a map ready to show us the location of all the restaurants in town. While we were at lunch they moved our belongings into our room. Patricia arranged for a massaeuse to give me a massage in the room (even helping move the bed to make room for the massage table) and suggested that, since my boyfriend had blisters, she could call the baggage transfer company & have the driver drop us off half way.
 (She knew him by name & had his number after he dropped off our bags that morning). She also suggested a short cut back to the trail to save 1 km. The front desk was always manned & they were always eager to assist. Breakfast was an amazing spread -including fresh squeezed orange juice & homemade jams, all being replenished & overseen by Manuel. Fantastic customer service & making the guests feel welcome.

Hands down the most helpful reception anywhere 

We loved this place.  It was clean, friendly, with a good breakfast.   A perfect stopping place on the rota Vicentina.
Outdoor swimming pool in the summer.  Almograve is a tiny village on the coast amidst beautiful dunes with amazing wild flowers

Perfect for walkers

Older and simple hotel. Very bare bones. The person at the front desk was very nice. Located in the part of town closer to the beach. 

Breakfast is not included (as it often is in Portugal). 

I stayed for one night in October so I can't comment on the pool.

The price seemed expensive to me.

Simple hotel

Almograve— a small town with few places to eat and to be well accomodated. The natura maris Dunas residence near the beach( enjoyed a phantastic sunset). The reception did well take care of us: the luggage was in our  rooms/ thus the check- in- procedure fast and friendly. A pity:  the restaurant— being an integral part of the NMDR — has been closed— serves only the breakfast for the hotel- guests,

A room to be chosen: the court side( in order to benefit the sunny side of the hotel)

A good place tonstay overnight at yiurvrota vincentia walk

We stayed here as an overnight while we hiked the Fisherman's Trail. This was a simply furnished hotel, no air conditioning but they gave us a fan to use which was great. The room was large and spotless. We were surprised to see they had a pool - it was a lovely end to the day of hiking.
The staff here were so very helpful and kind. They seemed to take special care of their place and had pride in their work there. The breakfast was lovely in a nice setting.

Manuel is the loveliest host. 
Comfortable beds. 
Great patio, cute pool.
Clean. Not ultra modern but that is part of its charm. 
Friendly, flexible and helpful staff. 
Right by the beach and restaurants. 
We booked last minute and paid 75 euro which was great value compared to other places. 
Highly recommend!



Charming!

Terrific hostess welcomed us and showed us to a huge double room with balcony. Patricia told us where to eat as most restaurants were shut. There is a nice pool
Breakfast was a huge buffet with lots of choices.

Fantastic hospitality

Loved this place. It was very quiet and super clean, and the manager was extremely nice and friendly, and spoke decent English. The super breakfast is worth the small extra fee. The manager had the wait staff make us a lunch for our walk the next day (no extra charge). Would definitely stay here again.

Nice, quiet place to stay after a day of hiking on the Fisherman's Trail (Rota Vicentina)

We were on the (gorgeous but hot and sweaty) Rota Vicentina, and we loved this hotel. They were so nice, they helped us find a wonderful dinner, and THEY DID OUR LAUNDRY making this my husband's favorite hotel of all time.
