The place has a lovely location in the valley just 10min drive from Manteigas. Rooms are clean and good, and the family running the place is very friendly. Internet is slow, but this seems to be the case at most places. Breakfast was good, and they kept asking if we wanted more or other stuff for breakfast. At night we drove into Manteigas to have dinner.

Stay with warm and friendly family in the outskirts of Manteigas

When we arrived here the owners were very helpful and showed us around.The next day they left for their holidays to the algarve and a fabulous lady called Gabriella arrived..nothing was too much trouble for her and the owners mum maria was there also..they go out of their way to make you relax..even when we went to the village to get food the table had been laid which was beautiful..You must go up in the mountains and also to vale do rossim..beach in the mountains it is..its amazing to see..all the local produce here was delicious.Room was pretty small and bathroom but good for a 2 night stay.

Quaint place to stay

Located just outside the village, this is the perfect place to stay if you enjoy nature. Very clean rooms, free wifi, free parking, great terrace and garden with swimming pool. Friendly and helpfull hostess, who prepares nice breakfast and offers fruits from her garden. Would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic place to stay

I travelled to Quinta de Leandres, Manteigas in the last weekend of december. We arrived very late (the weather was awfull) and called to warn. The owner was very nice and at midnight was waiting for us.

The rooms are nice, with all you need, no luxury, but very simple and clean.

The owner is very nice and helpfull, on saturday due to our late arrival we took breakfast at noon, and everything was in place for us. Really liked it and recomend it.

Good accomodation and the owner is fantastic

This was our second stay during the school vacation period at Quinta de Leandres in 3 years time and we really enjoyed it again. Manteigas has so much to offer in summer as well  and after a day of hiking in the mountains, we were happy to be able to relax at the nice swimming pool of the quinta and have a chat with Dona Albertina who has really become a good friend of us (even though we speak not well Portuguese!). We (me, my wife and our two children of 13 and 15 years old) stayed in two rooms next to each other in the main building on the first floor. If you want to enjoy beautiful nature in a quiet environment and still have the opportunity to get in contact with local people and know more about life in this mountain area, then this is the place to be. We will come back!
