It was a great stay, the host Daniela didn't leave any wishes open, a really nice little paradise 200 meters from the beach, highlighting the great breakfast and the really quiet location.

Top location, top host, top breakfast!

The hotel is really very far from towns and hustle, but close to the sea. The sea is very rough and therefore not necessarily suitable for children to swim. However, the tranquility is great. The loudest is the sea noise and you can relax splendidly. Walks on the beach or above the steep coast are splendid. Daniela as the hostess is warm and open. Breakfast is lovingly prepared and something of everything there.

A very hearty little hotel to slow down.

The hostess Daniela is very attentive (thank you for the birthday cake!) and friendly. The rooms are cozy and large. You must take the pony and/or the dog for a walk.

Highly recommended

But what a dreamy stay.... ideally located at the foot of the sea. A charming building perfectly maintained indoors (rooms, dining room, common areas...) and outdoors (garden, pool...) Danielle runs this establishment with a master's hand and a always present smile. The bed is excellent, the housekeeping is done every day and the housewives are adorable; polyglot and bumpy. Breakfast is to fall to the ground. Fresh produce (cat 4*) and cakes made. And every day we are offered houses (roasted, on the plate, chickens...).

But what a fabulous stay

First of all: the map view from Tripadvisor is completely wrong!!! Agua de Madeiros is located right on the coast, on the Estrada Atlantica between Sao Pedro de Moel and Paredes de Vitoria. When you turn from the E. Atlantica, you go down the mountain about 500 m to the right, on a so-called unpaved road. Once you've made it, the rest-seeking guest is expected to have an insanely hospitable bed&breakfast. The rooms are functionally furnished and picobello clean. Housekeeping is super fast and thorough. The breakfast is with the best of what we had on the trip, it didn't require anything. Every extravagant meal was filled. There is a fridge and an early drink spin, which we can enjoy in a short walk, thanks to everything in the streets of Sao Pedro de Madeira, and there is still nothing to eat on foot.

Hidden smallpox

During the period from 26 May to 7 June 2019, we were in this beautiful and quiet place for the first time. The great breakfast leaves no wishes. If you want to explore the area, Daniela gives everyone valuable and helpful tips. It's just fun to live here, even if you have to be mobile.

Purely recreational

Daniela offers a superb residence in the Agua de Madeiros, where we felt very comfortable: beautiful rooms, in this case with balcony and sea view. Very comfortable beds. Breakfast has only been served in the most distant hotel you've ever visited in Portugal, here's everything you want - and that's literally taken when something is missing: just ask. It's a beautiful place.

Thank you to the wonderful hostess Danielle for your hospitality, we felt here not as in a hotel but as guests with dear friends, and I also wanted to celebrate a delicious and varied breakfast that was enough for the evening, the only regret being here in September and not in the summer, and I would love to come back here for a beach holiday.

A cozy mini-hotel on the oceanfront

Our room was simple and clean, with a small balcony with a view of the Atlantic. It's a short walk down to the beach; it was windy and cold when we were there, but couldn't resist a short beach walk. Our hostess recommended Estrela do Mar for dinner and made reservations for us; excellent food and it's perched on a cliff overlooking the tide. The breakfast buffet offered lots of choices. The drawback: the B&B was very hard to find. The mailing address may be Sao Pedro de Moel, but it's about halfway between Sao Pedro and Nazarre. We had to stop twice to get directions and the signage isn't very good. Note also that there are no restaurants nearby without a 15 minute drive.

Ocean view

Although the accommodation is somewhat remote, even depending on how you drive on an adventurous road. Nevertheless, the accommodation is warmly recommended. In addition to the great pool, there is also a nice stretch of beach, but the sea is relatively cool and also partly very stormy, but normal in this area. The accommodation is very clean and you also have a large TV offer (including many German ones). Each room also has a balcony.
