This B&B is located next to the unused railway at the edge of town in a very quiet location amidst nature. Cleanliness is impeccable, and the house is very well renovated, even with airco (which we didn't need in April). The owner has a large domain where you can walk and on which there are several donkeys and pony's. Even when we were the only guests, breakfast was plentyful with lots of choice. Dalila communicates well in very good English and does everything to make your stay enjoyable. Indeed you have to park the car along the street, but this is no problem at all as there's virtually no traffic here. The region has many beautiful GR and local GR walking paths and mountain bike routes.

Very clean renovated place in a superb quiet location

I did not know what to expect when I drove our the rails of the abandonned railway station (so sad). And then this small hotel at the end of the road. Refurbished with nice bedrooms and places to dream on the couches outside, with candle light and total silence. The owner was nice and helpful, the breakfast good. No bar or restaurant but the owner surprised us with a bucket of ice for our champagne that we bought elsewhere and 2 champagne glasses. We spent a good part of the evening looking at a clear sky where stars were playing games . If you want cosy silence, this is the place

Quiet serenity

Great hospitality, clean and new rooms, wonderful patio and pool (in May storks were breeding 20 meters from the pool!), rich breakfast; a lot of interesting sightseeing destinations close to the village Beira which is ca. 10 km from Marvao; fair price

Beautiful place for relaxing and sightseeing

A beautiful location, next to the now inactive railway line, a bright white house on one side, a green garden and a blue pool on the other side of a quite street. This is a place where you can relax, watch a thousand stars late at night, and enjoy a great breakfast in the morning (but the coffee needs to be improved). To go back, yes, as soon as I can.

Loved this chic little b&b! Very nice rooms, very good service. The breakfast was great! Can really recommend this place if in Beira/Marvão. The pool is a little messy, but we had 40 C when visiting so it was well used anyway. Recommend a little walk along the railway tracks and in Beira town.
