Fantastic!   5 stars all the way.  We stayed here a while ago (earlier than June, but I just noticed my review didn’t post.   The staff here are amazing.  The food is amazing.  The accommodation is amazing.  The best view from any hotel we’ve stayed in.  I would highly recommend this B&B.   I would also recommend the national park.  A short drive away.  We did an activity with Oporto Adventures and it was a great day out and the scenery was spectacular.

The perfect place to stay 

Lakeview was an amazing experience with impeccable service. Alvaro, who runs the place, was very welcoming and always gave great advice! Excellent breakfast and overall highly recommended!

I would recommend visiting in the summer months as it is a good time to go swimming in the nearby waterfalls.

Amazing place! Great hospitality

We had booked a room for August 2019 with a booking.My mother-in-law got serious and we had to return.We called the lodging and were told that there was no problem in returning the money.Finally my mother-in-law passed away.I called to see if we could still enjoy the stay and were told that the room had been rented out by booking.Of the lodging they told us that booking was who should return the money and booking tells us that the lodging.A current date has not returned anything.Very little seriousness.

No, we have not returned the money.

Very friendly, welcoming, well-trained about various activities such as restaurants, very clean room, exceptional view, very quiet and restful place, very narrow car access.

The hosts, therefore, Joano and Alvaro are very friendly and give good advice for waterfalls and hikes (there you absolutely need a car to get to the various activities...). Before we arrived, they texted us the GPS coordinates of the accommodation as well as their GSM number if there is a problem (a little difficult to get by car to the accommodation, very narrow street to get up, you have to be careful not to scratch the car). The framework of this accommodation is simply exceptional. There is a very beautiful swimming pool with a beautiful view on the swimming pool (no attention to transats for all the rooms!). The room we were in was very cool with a beautiful decoration (we had a nice room with a view of the lake, we had a dream trip, but a more squeaky lunch).

Just one word: exceptional!!!

So glad we found this hidden gem.  Superb accommodation in a stunning setting with panoramic views over one of the most beautiful spots in Portugal.  The owners are so welcoming and friendly.  Eduardo is keen to share his local knowledge to help you get the most from your stay.  The homemade breakfasts are amazing (best yoghurt I've ever tasted)!  We stayed for 6 nights - enough time to explore the Peneda-Gerês National Park - wish we could have stayed longer!  100% recommend to anyone looking for high quality accommodation with great hospitality in a picturesque setting.

Perfection!

So after a long windy road by the mountains..which I love..up the steep hill to what I found to be an absolute peace of heaven.
Views to die for..a beautiful, small but adorable room with a walk out outside..with amazing views. Modern large bathroom.
The hosts are so accommodating and friendly. 
They prepared me a "light small snack" according to them...which was a full size meal..served outside overlooking the pool. Delicious meal..can't wait for tomorrow's breakfast it looks like its going to be quite a spread.
Great place to relax..take in the views..and go for long walks..which I did to burn out the dinner. Very safe. I'll be back and fully recommend  

What a find

One of the most beautiful places I've been around the world, Wonderful room, and also one of the best i've ever been in the world. The room was very clean, looks great, have all you need to be very confortable and more, and the view it's the best ever. The owners and staff are the friendliest and warm people i've ever met in the many countrys i've been. Thank you very much Mr. Eduardo. I will return asap!

Greatest place ever

Our room was superb, Breakfast was delicous. The views are outstanding and the owner's were entertaining, amiable, polite, friendly accomodating....i could go on but you get the idea. Didn't know what to expect before we arrived.. a b&b in Geres!!!! no idea why i was concerned it exceeded all expectations.

Wonderful

We're right here right now) The beauty is incredible. The owners have turned their own gray house into a guesthouse for the first year and they're really trying. The tasty breakfast, the clean swimming pool, the beautiful design of the living room and the terrace.
