Ver nice typical ''herdade'' from Alentejo

kids love it.animals-tennis field and lovely food.

We will come back in summer to relax and feel the real farm silence again.

The staff was very friendly and always present.

Friendly staff friendly place

We have been in the region before and wanted to go back to a small b&b. As August is extremely hot, it was important that there was a nice pool. 

The b&b is in the middle of nowhere a couple of km down a dirt road. We were welcomed by piglets walking by the house, and we could watch deers from the pool while swimming. 

The house was nicely renovated and the rooms simple, but nice. The food was the local quisine and the service was kind and helpful. It was a great stay and on top of that it was extremely good value for money.

A gem in the middle of no where

If what you are looking for a get away is calmness, away from the city, a little privacy, surrounded by nature-then this is definitely the place for you. This place is suitable not just for couples, but family, friends,for business or if you want to have a 'me' time. 

The staff are so friendly and accommodating. During our stay, we met one of the owners, and he was so accommodating and friendly-he made us feel at home and welcome.

Our stay came with a buffet breakfast---and yes, it was really buffet...I couldn't even eat all of it. Love the bread (traditional Pao Alentejano bread), the coffee ( a real one-not some instant crap coffee I must say), the warm milk, the fresh fruit juice and the fresh fresh jams plus the choices of local fresh fruits!!! 

We really enjoyed the view from the pool whilst swimming...but if you are a family, they have a kiddie pool and a toddlers or baby pool... They also have canoes for hire (at a very cheap price!) at a nearby lake... we didn't have much time to explore the areas after the bridge where you will see the animals as we were enjoying the swimming pool :-).

We love the simplicity of the room... there's no television nor internet-which makes it more beautiful as those are the things that can hinder you from enjoying the beautiful place. But don't fret Internet fanatics, as there is free internet in the chill-out area where you can play as well some cards and dominoes, watch telly, mingle or just enjoy the company of other people whilst you are surfing the net. 

In addition, there's a tennis court as well (yes, a proper tennis court-which we never tried as we were never interested with it). If you want to play, just ask in reception as per observation, they have tennis rackets there... 

To sum it all, we really had a great time relaxing there.
